Use this thread to talk about what you're reading, or swap recommendations for books to meet the prompts.

Misty | 1708 comments The first book I am reading for the challenge is The Violence by Delilah S. Dawson. The very first sentence is: "The first recorded incidence of the Violence occurred as Ruth Belmont of Land O'Lakes, Florida, was putting a tub of mayonnaise in her cart at a warehouse story on Tuesday, April 15, 2025." Dawson does the slow burn and women's rage like no one else. This book is so good. I stopped reading it for a few days because I got nervous about what was going to happen next! LOL. I'm only 146 pages in, so there's plenty left for the challenge. :) It's a horror/thriller/dystopian novel.
