For anyone who wants to broaden their point of view and possibly think about something that they don't always think about, I recommend the book Luna by Julie Anne Peters.

I've been meaning to read the lightning thief..maybe I'll get around to it this week.

If anyone likes really crazy but true stories, you should definetely read the book I'm reading right now, Running with Scissors. I do have to warn you though, there is a lot of talk about sex heterosexual and otherwise in the book, so if that's not your thing to read about, stay away from the book.

message 23: by Allison (last edited Dec 02, 2009 04:30PM) (new)

Allison | 48 comments Beastly is an amazing book. It is a modern day retelling of Beauty and the Beast set in New York City. While it is a bit girly at times, it is written in a guys perspective and is very captivating.

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

The lightning thief looks sooooo good. If we were not reading it in class I would probly read it next. after the book Im currently reading.

Adam (adawg) | 65 comments THe knife of never letting go is so AMAZING!!! Not very popular outside of our school....... some other ones that rnt very popular are Fallen by Lauren Kate, Cirque Du Freak Saga by Darren Shan, Locomotion (story told in poetry) by Jacqueline Woodson, THe Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan, and Gone by Michael Grant. Out of those, Cirque Du Freak and Gone are the best...... Then Knife of Never Letting Go..... I also love Beastly, THG, and The Book THief
