+ My responses will be short & sweet, more on the informal side
+ I will absolutely NOT charge for it (since it isn't a professional service)
+ Send only the first couple of chapters, then I may ask for more

Purpura Corde is a completed, roughly 80,000-word sci-fi space mystery ;) Think galaxy-wide politics, found family, secret organizations, and rich worldbuilding if you're into that sort of thing. And even though it doesn't sport a queer character in volume one, he is coming in volume 2, and his name is Vellian Seven. :)

At its core, it's a space opera about a young boy who wants to save his sister from the fate he escapes. All in all, it's a heartwarming sci-fi meant to make you shed a tear and hopefully stick around for book 2 and 3 ;)

English isn't my native language, but I did my best to weed out spelling errors, so I really just want your informal, honest thoughts on the vibe, the concepts, and if it keeps you hooked—no grammar policing needed.

Here's what it's about.
An erotic sci-fi space opera about Joan Kendrick, captain of the Crusade, the first female captain of a strict misogynistic theocracy. During the Crusade's maiden voyage, Captain Kendrick is under the heavy scrutiny of High Father Wul who has the power to stop her command if he feels she’s not following the Lord’s morals. The stakes are raised for Captain Kendrick when the Crusade encounters first alien contact.
