I’ve sat down to start reading this book three times and still haven’t opened it

Felt. Worry a lot that I won’t appreciate it properly on a tired brain.

Started this book today and I’m liking it a lot more than I thought I would. The bookseller yesterday lowkey warned me about this book? Just that the vibe is different than Yellowface (which I’ve read) and Poppy War (which I’ve read 2 of the 3).

Wait Carrie now I’m scared if you were warned by the bookseller

I had the opposite experience getting this book, Carrie. My librarian told me how much she enjoyed it. My copy hadn’t been checked out since 2023.

yo… I’m about 100 pages in and all I can think about is reading this book now. Procrastination gone
