Okay, who loved it? who hated it? who thought there was too much talk and not enough action? who thought Lucas was yummy? lmao, or who liked Balthazar more? and if you're one of the few guys in this group and have read it did you like bianca? I myself thought she was one cool chick!

Lovedd balthazarr i really wanted him and bianca to be together but they werent who they really wanted!! - i really liked the story though, what is going to happen in the next one hourglass! how will bianca survive without biting lucas!

lol yeah balthazar was a sweetheart. but i guess u cant help who u love. and OMG i know, i cant wait to find out how shes going to survive without blood. but honestly i think she becomes a vampire in the fourth book. just judging by the title. and i hope lucas joins her! but balthazars sister was a b***h really. i mean after everything bianca did for her she goes and sets everyone up? i wander what mrs bethany wanted with the ghosts.

I hadn't heard of it 'till you guys started to talk about it. Now I REALLY wanna read it! Sound interesting! XD

yeah it is interesting!!! it was like awesome (well to me anyway lol) but yeah u should check it out its about a girl named bianca and her parents move her to boarding school (where her parents are going to be teachers) and then she meets lucas and they become friends - until they find out each oter secrets. it was really good. but some ppl dont like it bwcause there is not enough action in it, but oh well.

OoH you got me into this series star so thanks a heap I love it muchly lmao Lucas is awesome and hot might I add and cant forget big old Balthazar!! OMG HOurglass will be out soon aye this month even yaya! anyways sorry for the brags and stuff I feel like I havnt commented in like a year or suim lol

yeah i dont think the wraiths will get her. i think she will choose to becum a vampire rather than join them, and im hooping lucas will help heer becum one - let her drink from him and turn him as well.

hmmm yeah sometimes I think he might it will make it more interesting thats for sure, I dont really like authors playing it safe when they write, I like the risk taking lol but then Ill be mad haha! so you cant win either way lol I hope she goes with Balthazar too lol I have a weird way of thinking when it comes to judging books lol well anything really

Lucas betraying Bianca? I don't see it happening, nor do I see her with Balthazar. That would be playing it safe, by making the heroine end up with the guy that all her family members approve of, instead of the guy who's her mortal enemy. Oh and Balthazar doesn't love Bianca, he only sees his past love in her, and I hate that. Bianca and Lucas suit each other way better, imho.

oh yeah I totally agree with you but you know how popular Lucas is with all the evernight fans I just wouldnt mind them hooking up for a bit lol Im a LucasXBianca supporter anyway so I dunno why I think that haha! and sometimes I think Lucas MIGHT betray Bianca depends if he thinks Bianca is more important than his family after all he hasnt been feeding her blood, maybe hes ashamed of what she is and dont wana be reminded of the fact that shes a vampire or maybe hes scared if he feeds her from him, he might be turned...lol but what do I know haha!

yeah i dont definitely dont see bianca with balthazar. she cares about lucas too much and vice versa. and i dont see him betraying her to the black cross after going into her burning school to look soley for her. but he cant feed her again because that will be the point of no return. if he feeds her again she will kill him and change into a true vamp in the process, thats what her parents and mrs bethany said.
but i think black cross is going to find out and lucas is going to have a very important decision to make.

lol actually sometimes its a few months after american release dates. i mean blood promise came out in nz a couple of weeks after america. i know because i waited and waited for it to hit the stores.
but yeah fingers crossed that its here on time!

hey i know u all finished this conversation like a month ago.. but does anyone know if Hourglass is out yet? or when it comes out??? i just finished reading stargazer and now i am totally hooked... at the back of the book it said hourglass is coming out in dec '09 but i cant find it anywhere and when i look it up some places say feb '10 and some say march '10... i hate waiting!!!!

oh gosh is it March now? I thought March was just for the hard cover and Feb was for the paper back! lmfao...freaking release dates keep changin lmao...and Yes Lucas is a honey lmao!

Team Balthazar forever, and ever. Lucas annoys me. I like the books, they aren't the most exciting. It seems to me that every time something is about to happen Claudia Gray dials it down a notch. And also, Bianca is a character name I would not have chosen. For some reason I'm really picky about character names, and no offense, but I really don't like the name Bianca. For the character anyway. It doesn't fit her.

lol your kind of like me with character names...although I love Lucas so thats something indifferent but yeah I get frustrated when names don't seem plausible to the character, but I got used to the name Bianca after awhile...although Bianca seems like a more of a 'popular-beauty-queen' name for the popular girl if you know what I mean...but it's an awesome series, so I can't really say anything's wrong with it lmfao...

it took me the whole of the first book to get over how stupid her name was lmao. sorry but its true. i dont like the name and certainly not for her.

'cos if I start on a series' book~ I don't have many chances to go look for them one by one, it would have to be a "shop for them all at the same time~" ~so that's pretty annoying=))
and ,, lets say, compared to Vampire Academy(I've read it) ... which would you recommend more?

Umm... If you want a new vampire series that is as good as Vampire Academy, I'd say read House of Night or Blue Bloods. Evernight just isn't as good as Vampire Academy. Actually, they're kinda similar. They're both set in private vamp academies, but I feel that VA is WAAY better. So I'd say read it eventually, but you may just want to get them from a library or borrow them... just to see if you like them. And if you can't borrow them, buy em and if you don't like them take them back. It's kinda hard to say if you will like this. A lot of people feel differently. But like I said, if you want a book that is as good as VA, try House of Night or Blue Bloods.

I agree, I would recommend the VA series, it is really really good. Like I like this series, but i agree that the VA series is better.

Hmmmmm... Evernight series is a good series in my opinion. I've read both VA and Evernight and although they have their similarities they're also quite different as well. I think if u do decide to read the series, try not to start it with any expectations of it being like another book because it will ruin it for u.

I totally agree with that, they are definietly different and you should think of them that way.

Us I've read both of thouse series, I'm reading the latest one in the blue bloods series right now. Have you read them or do you want to know about them?

I read the first 2 of house of night. im hesitant to start the 3rd one at the moment because zoey gets on my nerves lol

The third one is good and the fourth too kind of, but after that they go down hill in my oppinion, but around the end of the latest it did start to improve.

but it's kinda creapy..

Okay, well it's basically about this girl named Zoey, she's in high school. She finds out that she's a vampire, and in this particular book humans are aware that they exist, but still don't like them, and Zoey is definietly not happy at first and just wants to go back to being a normal human. But she can, so she ends up going to the House of Night, a school for vampire fledglings(not yet full vampires). She also discovers that she is different than the other students, and can do things that they can't. At the school she makes some new friends and also an enime or two, plus of course guys. And also there are some weird things going on at the House of Night that don't seem right, and so basically you follow Zoey and her friends as they try to find out what is going on, along with other things.

I really liked the first three or four of the books, but find that they have not been nearly as good lately. Although the last one did improve around the end, and I think that the next one has the potential to be good.

Finally read Evernight!!! I am almost done with Stargazer, and I think I am falling in love with Balthazar, I don't know how I feel about Lucas yet. And Vic is a goofball, but in a good way. And what the heck r the wraith's talking about that Bianca's 1 of them?! And I sure as hell didn't c that 1 coming with Courtney and Charity.
