@Jay, okay, sounds great, Iβll try to help brainstorm and I can help with other things too
Today I kind of had a mental breakdown about the state of our country/world and I felt so utterly powerless, I kept thinking "what could a teenage girl possibly do to make the world a little better?"
I went on a walk to clear my head, and I came up with the idea of a non-profit collaboration album. I know it's been done many times before, but I thought the listener should be able to control where the proceeds go.
So, Everytime a listener wants to stream the album, they must choose a charity to which the proceeds of their stream goes to. It's not a personal donation, so it doesn't 'hurt' them, only helps the charity. (Unless, of course, they choose to donate)
And it would be PURELY non profit. The artists don't get any revenue from it, but they still be millionaires at the end of the day so really, it's a win win. This is just a very brief overview of my idea, and I intend to be updating and brainstorming this very frequently, and I wanted you guys to be a part of the process! I know may of you are probably much smarter than me, so any mathematics help would be greatly appreciated π
