meg snuck out of the palace to go into town.

Nikki was in the training room. She was shootung arrows at a target, getting a bulls eye every time.

Michaela dueled with one of the other guards. She pinned him down and put the sword to his neck. he yielded and she got up.

meg was glad she got out succesfully and matt was in his room.

Michaela walked over to Nikki. "How's the king?" she asked.

Nikki glanced at her. "He's fine."

Michaela nodded and left.

everybody in the palace started to freak because they just realized the princess was missing.matt was getting ready to leave.

Michaela found him. "Do you need anyone to come with you? All though I'd probably have to come with you anyway..."

Nikki walked up behind Michaela. "The king said if Matt is going to find the princess Michaela is to go with him." she said.

matt sighed."u may come but i dont really care either way."he said

Michaela looked at Nikki, Nikki rolled her eyes, then left. michaela got ready to go.

matt looked at her."ready?"he asked

"As always." she replied.

"all right then."he said and started walking out with her.

She followed. She looked around, and felt her sword hilt at her side, which instantly made her relax a little bit.

matt looked around for meg when they were in town.he hoped nobody noticed who they were.

Nikki started reading the mind of the people around them. One of the men was thinking about a girl that had walked by with the exact description of Meg. She told Matt to wait and asked the guy which why the girl had gone he pointed and she thanked him, then walked over to Matt.

matt looked at her."u find her?"he asked

"He saw her go into a bar down the street." she said, then concentrated on that bar. She looked around and found her. "She's there. Come on." she said then started walking again.

"why in gods name would she be in a bar?"matt asked mostly to himself.

Nikki grinned and shrugged. They got to the bar and went inside. Someone tried touching her and she hit them pretty hard. They grinned though. She kept walking, and stood next to a hooded figure, also known as Meg. "This was he last place i would have looked." she said.

meg jumped in her seat and turned around smiling."hello nikki and matt r u two on a date?why its a wonderful day for one."meg said.

Nikki raised her eyebrows. "Actually, we were out looking for you."

matt looked at her."meg wat is this like the fifth time this month?"he asked
she looked at her drink and said"actually seventh."

Nikki laughed. "You're supposed to deny it. Hey, listen, how about, next time you want to go out, ask me. And I'll take you out and let you do whatever you want. You won't ever know I'm there. Okay? Because that way you won't get in trouble with anyone."

"even with matt."meg asked her eyes sparkling.
matt rolled his eyes.

Nikki grinned.

"so hows aboout u two go hang out and i go on my merry wawy back home."meg said.

matt looked at her amused."one:stop trying to get me and nikki to be more than what we r friends.and two i know u wont even go home by urself."

Nikki chuckled. "He has a point. We're just friends meg. Come on, we should get back. Nikki will kill me if it takes as long as it did last time we had to come out and get you."

"fine.a princess surrenders with honor."meg said
matt looked around the filthy bar and at all the druniken men and women.he hoped nobody had heard his sister.

Nikki rolled her eyes. "Let's go." they started walking out. Someone grabbed her arm. "hey there."

Nikki punched him and he let go. "Don't touch me." she said.

matt clapped.and said."now that that little scene is over may we go now?"he asked

Nikki glared at him. "Whatever." she walked out of the bar. she ran her fingers through her hair and looked around outside.

meg sighed and started walking out of the bar with her brother and she saw two children who were outside.they were wearing raggedy clothes and digging in the huge pile of garbage scavaging for food.meg noticed wat their motives were and dugg into her beige bag that she was carrying for some food.

Nikki looked at the kids, then looked at Meg. She stood and waited. when Meg handed them the food she started walking again, quickly. "Keep up please." she said over her shoulder.

matt was ahead of both of them and said."yes please do."

meg smiled at the children then ran to catch up.

Nikki almost growled.

matt smiled at nikki and meg was panting."all righty lets keep walking."

Nikki looked around, then behind her. She disappeared into the shadows after saying, "Just keep walking."

matt sighed and kept walking with meg next to him.

Nikki walked close by. She held a dagger in her hand.

they kept walking and were almost there when meg saw a cute animal in a bush.

Nikki twirled the dagger in her hand. She saw movment, close to matt. She held the dagger ready.

meg went over to the animal which was next to matt and picked it up."oh my gosh matt look its a kitty."she said petting it.

Nikki threw the knife just as a man stepped out of the shadows holding a knife. Her dagger hit him inbetween his eyes, and he fell back. she came out. "Get inside. Now."

meg screamed and matt covered her mouth.matt listened obediently to nikki

Nikki went and looked at the guy. She took her dagger from his forehead, then took his. She got up and looked around. Then she followed after Meg and Matt. nikki was alredy standing there, not looking very happy.

meg was still freaked out and holding the kitten still.
matt hadnt noticed the kitten and looked at nikki.he slowed down so he was next to her."are u okay?"he asked

Nikki nodded. "I'm fine." she left the room with michaela.

matt watched her then turned to his sister and realized the cat."meg no pets."he said
