I have no pets...which means no dog(s)...

I used to have one. His name is Duke and he was a mix of a golden retriever and a yellow lab. He had the cutest pink/brown nose! And he was my only brother.

I have a Yogi as well! Mine's a beagle/corgi mix I adopted from a local animal shelter, though. :)

i used to have a beagle and labrador mix named manderin, but she died young from a sickness.

i picked up a stray puppy. he looks like an austrailian shepherd. his name is zampano.

i've gon an English Bull Terrier called Odin and he's about eleven months ^_^

I think you might be referring to an Irish Wolfhound. (I've never heard of an Irish greyhound but correct me if I'm wrong.) They are indeed huge. Edie's big but not that big..only about 60 lbs. Even at her age she's very muscular..

Yes they are...Greyhounds are considered "big dogs" but they're nothing compared to the Irish Wolfhound or Great Dane.

Oh wow ..you have a Great Dane! Cool! The one's I've met have great personalities..very laid back and gentle. I'm only 4'6" /85 lbs so they'd be a bit for me to handle.

yes... saint bernards DO overheat easily. they used to be used as rescue dogs in the icy mountains.

the dogs that like water are flat coated retrievers, newfundlands, leonburgers (they are like these humongo german dogs that i love) and a few others. in korea there's these dogs that swim under water.

a girl named brooke was in my second grade class. she loved horses.

i'd love to learn to ride horses, but it costs so much.........

I have two Bulgarian street dogs that we picked up off the roadside, as puppies. They were barely weaned and abandoned. Such an event, unfortunately, isn't unusual here.
We named them Toots and Alfie. Now they're huge but still absolutely adorable.

Before then, I was a cat person. I still like cats, but dogs have definitely won my heart.

I have a toy poodle named Greta. She had a sister named Garbo but sadly, she has passed on.

I have a 7 year old pit bull/lab mix named Star. She's fantastic with children, lovable, and a great guard dog. Unfortunately, she will bark at the poor mailman everyday, and forget the UPS guys.
