Oh I'm jealous, I entered that one but didn't get it, let me know if it's worth keeping an eye out for in the shops :-)
Yeah, I enter loads of the giveaways and that's the first one that I got too. I'm gonna start reading it tonight. Once I've finished reading it I'll probably swap it on Readitswapit, but if you wanted it, Sam, I can send it to you instead.

I have recently won one which came at the end of Dec, Going with Gabriel by Brian Islip, I have also won Try Me too (couldn't get past the first page!), Bloody Ham, a teen book Beatrix Beacham's Fete of Fate and The Lieutenant by Kate Grenville. I was also sent a cult fiction thing which was awful and sad to say it went to the recycling! I felt it was just a waste of paper and printing!
I've recently won my third book with The Riddler's Gift, also won The Life of Pi which I thoroughly enjoyed and the Whitest Wall which was also very good.
I have the Life of Pi on my bookshelf waiting to be read. You've both won a lot of books in the giveaways! I think I don't read enough variety of books to win many of the giveaways
Fairly although I have entered over one hundred so percentage wise it's not brilliant. I tend to enter any that sound good whether it's my usual thing or not and it seems to work (kinda lol)
Yeah I entervany that sound good! I guess percentage wise we're about the same then, I think i've entered about 50.
The other day I won Birthday Girl a Novel, just waiting for it to arrive now. I enter any that sound like they might be good. Done pretty well so far, I've only entered 19 and I've won 2.
That's good Kathryn, I've entered 126 (yes I keep track) and just won my third so your doing pretty good :-D
Haha I know what you mean about free things!

Yay Just won my first book on goodreads giveaways received my copy of The Help by Kathryn Stockett today Can't wait to start it! Anyone read it?
I've read The Help, Amy, and really enjoyed it. The characters are excellent, it's in turns, moving and funny. One of the best books I read last year. Enjoy!

I got a copy of Mania too!!, and also on my first attempt!!. I have finished it but I'm not sure how to do a good review... I did my best! :o)

I just got that too Fiona - but what I did like was that he signed my copy with my name in it. So will keep it...My partner has it's eye on it too..
I also won a copy of Quantum Breach; it's the 2nd book I win in a giveaway. I haven't read it yet, as I only finished my exams at university last Friday (now I'm ready to read a lot this summer!!).
Hi - I've put a copy of my new novel Dry Season onto the giveaways list. A signed first edition is up for grabs. It's been out for a few months now - Orion Publishing - and it's been getting some good reviews. Why not enter and be in for a chance of winning?
Hi Dan - I was just about to mail you and ask where I can get a copy, will go and look for the giveaway. Sounds great btw.
Hi Kimberley, nice to meet you - you look very young on your photo! If you don't win the giveaway, Dry Season is available pretty much anywhere. At the moment it's only out in hardback and trade paperback (the mass market paperback is due for next spring when my second novel is out), so some stores don't have it, but online you'll find it anywhere. Sshh, but I think Amazon is the best price - about £5.50 for the trade paperback.
Thanks Dan. I'll have a look online. I am aging well, the photo is my son, unlike me, he isn't camera shy and poses at the slightest hint that there is a camera around. What is your second novel called (or is it a secret or without name at the minute)?
Just spotted this post and realised I hadn't replied. How very rude of me. My next novel is called 'Dark Horizons' and will be out in May 2011. Seems like a long way off.
Here's a giveaway from Xcite for a fab new erotic novel, The Initiation of Ms Holly

Is it the Movie with Nicole Kidman in it?
I'm giving away a signed copy of my fantasy debut Rebellion: Chronicles of Charanthe - I'd be very happy to see some entries from the UK Book Club, and I'd *love* it if you'd tell your friends... ;)Here's a direct link to the contest page: http://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sho...

hugs liza x
It's great to see so many people have entered to win a signed copy of Dry Season. I can't wait till the paperback comes out in March - coincidentally, it's to be published on World Book Day. Is that a good omen, or what?
I've downloaded Dry Season to my i pad, and am really looking forward to reading it.What a brilliant day to have a book published.....that must surely be auspicious !
Hi Dan,Good luck mate.I hope you get the success it deserves. My only fear is it might get swamped by that crazy 1,000,000 book give away . That would be an injustice as yours is better than any of the 25 titles being given away, by a considerable margin.
All the best Paul Rix [oldgeezer]
