Okay, so I just wanted to get the ball rolling and start a group page for the class. I hope this works. See if you can add books to the shelves, and/or create one of your own.

I don't know why I'm doing this, it's not like I have nothing better to do, what with the end of the semester coming up and all. I guess I'm avoiding!!

Carol, thanks for getting this started. I love this idea, but don't find the site all that user friendly. I'm not sure of the difference between "shelves" and "groups." Maybe a different way of tagging.

For example, if I click on "cloud" for myself or some of the others I get the tags in the cloud display. Doesn't work for Ingrid's account though.

Fun to play with, to keep in touch, and I hope it will help us understand and evaluate folksonomies.

My friend invited me to the book website shelfari, so I signed up for both at the same time. I, too, find this one not as user friendly as shelfari, but maybe that is because it can do more.
