BRIGID!! HER TOPIC IS THE COOLEST BECAUSE THE TITLE IS WRITTEN IN ALL CAPS!
your topic is NOT the coolest. That's why I have 3 psots on mine and you only have 2 on yours. ha ha. Good luck on your goals, and good luck on getting Reborn published. You make me feel in adequate because I'm just trying to finish ONE by June. lol.
WELL THEN!! well now mine has three posts so it's just as cool! HAAAAA!!!!thankies :] aww. well i probably won't finish all those books … i'll probably only end up finishing one. O_o haha
BUT MINE HAS SIX POSTS NOW!You probably will. You have 369 days until 2011, since 2010 hasn't started yet. :D and you wrote 100K for nano. I have faith in you.
Well … Whatever!!!!! It's about quality, not quantity! (unlike NaNoWriMo)Maybe … I don't know. But the rest of the year's going to be pretty busy. I have school and homework and my job, plus I have to do more college research and study for the SAT's. AGGGH!
You're a junior, right? I hear Junior year kind of sucks. I'm not looking forward to it. Lol. What's your job? My mom wants me to do crew, which pracitces every day until 5:30. Then I'd get home around 6, take a shower and eat dinner, etc., till 7. Then I'd do homework, and have no time for anything else. "But I need to do a team sport!" Urgh.
You can still do it.
Junior year absolutely sucks. I'm not gonna lie. :P I work at the library … I'm a page. So I just shelve books. Kind boring. heh heh …ooh, that sucks. i'm sorry :(
well, i sure can try ;D haha
That's cool. I want to work at the library near be but you need to be sixteen, and I doubt they're hiring anyway right now. Lol. Yes it does suck. I'm going to try and talk her out of it.
Trying is good enough. Even ifyou fail you got something done.
I bike to school and I'm working on biking up this giant hill that right now I take the bus up. That is exercise and it doesn't take up as much time.
Kind of. :) I go to this kind of laid-back class at the rec center though, so it's not all that hard-core. But it's something. ;D

How do you get the whole CreateSpace novel thingy? I'm still confused. I signed up for it, and then they were like you have to pay taxes, you have to pay a fee . . . I was like what? I thought this was free?!

Hey Brigid :3
It seems like you've got your work cut out for you this year, and I send you oodles of luck.
Just a question: What's CreatSpace?

That's true. That may actually be enough motivation for me to get my lazy butt to do NanoWrimo next year!

I'M A GANGSTER! just kidding. i made up this "hip hop" dance yesterday and it made my sister fall on the floor laughing. heh heh.
sorry, that was completely random.
XD I was going to do NaNoWriMo, but I just had too much to do in November and plus, I was itching to start my story. But I already have an idea for 2010's NaNoWriMo...oh noes. I think we should do a mock NaNoWriMo like we did in Write in 2009
♥ Tink ♥ (Paige) wrote: "It may be the bomb, but it's a whole hell of a lotta work. It's cool. "
That is true. But you know … It's just a matter of finding random times to write – like, during breakfast or when you're watching TV or *cough* instead of doing homework *cough* :D
♥ Brigid ♥ wrote: "That is true. But you know … It's just a matter of finding random times to write – like, during ..."Instead of homework? *Dripping with sarcasm* I never write instead of do calculus.
Good luck with all your goals! I feel like mine are so easy with all yours! Good luck with getting Reborn published!

I got an e-mail back from them today. They helped me figure it out. Thank you CreateSpace people!

My friend Bethany is superbusy so she didn't do NaNo this year. but she got a netbook for christmas- it's like three pounds- so now she doesn't have any excuse because she can work in homeroom and lunch and there's an hour right there. In the car to and from school is another half hour. Lol.

Awesome goals! I hope you achieve all of them!
Hehe, yay! You took my advice and named the Edge trilogy the Maxwell Collins trilogy! XD
... Or, wait. Was that the title I suggested, or the one you suggested? I don't remember. Lol :P
Hi Brigid,Happy New Year! I like your goals a lot. I signed up to follow your blog and they asked for a nickname, so I gave them 'Seattle Friend', a screen name I first used on the New York Times 'Abuzz' several years ago. The photo is the same as the one here at Goodreads. Happy writing and reading in 2010!
Jeanne (aka Seattle Friend)

I'd like my goal to be an average of 1000 words a day or so – I say average because some days it will be a lot more than that, and some days I probably won't write at all. Ha ha. O_o
Anyway, I have like a gazillion goals this year and I probably won't get to them. But here's what I hope to do:
1. Finish writing Walking Shadow and edit it once so I can get my free CreateSpace copy of it (YAY!)
2. Finish writing Jump and possibly start writing the third Maxwell Collins book ;D
3. Finish at least one of my other novels … probably Afterworld or Red. Maybe Shades, if I ever get any ideas for it. O_o
4. Edit (and by that I mean rewrite) Soul Stealer. :P
5. Work on getting Reborn published … which is going okay right now. I'm waiting on one agent's response on a partial. (EEP! :D)
6. Edit Edge … or at least edit enough of it to submit to the Scholastic novel-writing contest thingie.
… Yeah. I guess that's about it. :)
Good luck everybody on your word goals! :D
