mixtape your book discussion

Yeah. I noticed there hadn't been any posts in a minute. Anyway, I like the idea. My take is a little different though. Instead of creating a mixtape FOR a book I'm reading I make a mixtape FROM the book I'm reading. All the songs in my mixes are mentioned by the author in the book, either by track name or by album. It's really been an interesting project. It's funny how often songs come up in novels, even novels not overtly concerned with music.
