Brad's 100+ Books for 2010
What did you think of this book? I have had it on my shelf for a long time but have yet to read it. I bought it after I finished the Harry Potter series hoping it might be similar or at least magical, maybe I will find out this year.Erin
I will let you know how it goes, I am still reading it and having a terrible time getting in to it. The writing and everything seams ok but after reading the Hunger Games I am having a hard time getting into it.

If you enjoy fantasy I highly recommend it.

Hi, Bradley. What did you think of this book? I have recently become a Gaiman fan and I really loved this one...especially the unpredictability. I feel he's a master of creating alternate worlds.
So far I really enjoy it. I read Anansi Boys which was really good as well and had a similar theme of creating an alternate reality or world. The interesting thing is he doesn't get too outlandish with his ideas and keeps everything with some level of plausibility all be it not a real likely reality. I have to agree with you in saying I have really started to become a Neil Gaiman fan, even Coraline.

Have you ever heard a Lemony Snicket audion book? He reads them so well. I listened to one on a car trip and totally loved it.
I actually struggled through the books read by the author, there was something about his reading style that I didn't care for. I do however really like Tim Curry as a reader of this series and his voice and characterizations of the characters really sets off the stories. I do have to admit that I can't stand the sections of the books when Mr. Poe is around as the incessant coughing drives me crazy... The first couple of books were the worst for it the coughing, could't stand it, at least further on he is less of a character and therefore the coughing is limited.
