It's funny how Mozart can be interpreted is so many various approaches. ASMF, much like Britten and Beecham show you the light and elegant Mozart. I lean toward the demonic approach of Klemperer or Markevitch. I'm not including other visions from more contemporary conductors having grown accustom to my heroes from the glory days of vinyl! Either way is appropriate.
I love hearing the great variety of interpretations. While in most cases I'd favor the musicians who try to follow the composer's intentions, I also encourage musicians to experiment, exercise creative freedom, and let their own personalities shine through in performances.

No one can compare to the great Klara Haskill when performing Mozart's PC No. 20 in D Minor......but alas, probably Clara is missing on youtube ........pity!
