So basically i have to read 5 books a month. I gotta start moving!!!

I am doing 60 books this year too, already freaking out because I am having a hard time finishing The Memoirs of Cleopatra

It's only January .... once the summer comes and beach days, you will prob fly through your books.

Thanks Megan, that makes me feel a little better. I think I will be back on track when I finish MoC. I have a trip coming up with a lot of time spent in the air and on layovers so I am hoping to catch up and be a bit ahead by the time I get back.

I think I set my standards a little high. Last year I was able to do it because:

A. I was on maternity leave
b. I only took one class

This semester I am taking 2! AND I have a lot of 500+ page books on my TBR. Oh well. I am crossing my fingers!

you said 60+ .... I think you can do it. We are only 1 month in. too soon to start a failblog - lol

I gotta do about 1.5 a week.

You can do it Donna! I have some doorstoppers on my TBR list this year too.

I meant the Letter E books LOL. I have tried so many times to read them on my phone but I just can't.

It was a quick read and it was good. It was very easy and the ending was just ..... No words to explain.

Hmmm... I have been holding off on seeing the movie based on your #9 because I have a feeling it will make me desperate for the book, which I don't have yet.

I figured that if I read 5 a month (or 6 and 4 and so on) then I will make my goal! Just gotta get more fluff!

As for my ABC's I am not doing too good on sticking to the plan! I have only read one of my PLaaned books

That's what I figure too Donna, for my 60, about 5 a month. I find audio books help A LOT with the numbers; good for when you can't actually read (like when you drive). Of course fluff books always help too, especially after a huge or heavy read, LOL.

I don't drive and when I take the bus or subway and I am too tired to read I usually fall asleep listen to it. I also try to listen to books when I am laying in bed and it works for a little bit but then I fall asleep again and forget where I left off so I really don't listen to books.

I fall asleep listening to books every night. I have my ipod on me when I clean, shop, cook, every spare second spent reading! I actually bought a waterproof case and headphones so I can listen when I swim or snorkel.

OK 13 & 14 were pretty quick and easy reads I doubt my next few will go as fast.

Done with March already, excellent! I have been slacking the past few days so I need to plant my bum down and catch back up, LOL

LOL, well how is it so far then?

So far so good. I am about 100 pages in. At first I wasn't crazy about the whole "letter" thing but I am actually getting into it more and more as the story progresses.

So does it have kind of a feel like you are reading a stack of letters or is there story in between? I have the book but haven't gotten around to reading it.

It's nothing but letters. It's different, but I enjoyed it. Though I didn't read the book, I listened to the audio. As far as an audio book goes, it was LOVELY! :)

It becomes a story and I am now flying thru it! It is a very lovely story and of course I love my books about WWII so I win!

I have had a thing with Holocaust books the past year or so, have you ever heard of Salvaged Pages: Young Writers' Diaries of the Holocaust by Alexandra Zapruder? I watched the film and thought it was beautiful so I had to get the book. Can't wait to fit it in this year along with The Reader.
