Amie | 102 comments 5. The Betrayal of Natalie Hargrove - Lauren Kate
(Not on my list of great books)

Amie | 102 comments 6. In The Woods - Tana French
(A wonderful who-did-it where I didn't see the ending coming.)

Amie | 102 comments 7. I heart you, You haunt me - Lisa Schroeder
(My very first verse novel. I really liked the story but the verse writing was very hard for me. I felt like I was just turning the page every 5 seconds, so that distracted me. On the other hand, I really liked the story. Very heartfelt.)

I really enjoyed this book. If you liked the "Wake" series or the "Immortal" series, I think you will enjoy this even more. Check it out! Thanks for letting me share. :)

I've been reading Ellen Hopkins's books, which are also in verse, and it still gets confusing!"

I've looked into the Ellen Hopkin's books and passed on them because of the verse. Even though I liked the book I think I will stick the a traditional novel (until something else catches my eye)!

Amie | 102 comments 9. Devoured - Amanda Marrone
(The last few chapters were ok, but unless you have nothing else to read, I'm not sure I'd bother!)

Amie | 102 comments 10. Shattered Mirror - Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
11. Midnight Predator - Amelia Atwater-Rhodes

Amie | 102 comments 12. The Dark Divine - Bree Despain

I ran across this book and loved the cover, so of course I picked it up. This turned out to be a really great book. I would recommend this book to anyone. Enough twists, turns & mystery to keep anyone happy.

Amie | 102 comments 15. Island of Lost Girls - Jennifer McMahon

message 15: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 16. Going to Far - Jennifer Echols
(This book was only ok. It had some really good parts that could have gone so much better! I'm slightly disappointed.)

message 16: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 17. Bleeding Violet - Dia Reeves
(By the book cover it looked really interesting, NOT THE CASE!)

Amie | 102 comments ♥Rachel♥ wrote: "Did you like Hush Hush?"

I really did like it. I was putting if off because the topic is Angels, the same as Fallen, and I thought it would be too much the same. But it was very different. The only thing was I needed to stick out the first couple chapters then it took off. I would recommend Fallen and Hush, Hush.

Amie | 102 comments 18. Raven - Allison Van Diepen
(A really great read. The way it ended, I'm not sure of it will be a series, but I didn't feel like I was missing something. A very different take on the immortal idea. I will look even more into this author.)

message 19: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 19. The Strange Power - L.J. Smith
20. The Possessed - L.J. Smith
21. The Passion - L.J. Smith
The Dark Vision Series

(A neat easy read series. Although reading them together seemed to make it drag out. I like to skip the recaps but that is hard to do when there is quite a bit of it. Good Books though!)

Amie | 102 comments 22. Shift - Rachel Vincent

This is a wonderful series! I'm sad that there is only 1 book left to come but October can't come soon enough!

message 21: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 23. Promise Not To Tell - Jennifer McMahon

I enjoyed this book by her much more than the one I read a few books ago. This story had better suspense and it was easier to follow along. I would recommend this book. Warning though it had moments that really made your heart wrench!

Amie | 102 comments 24. The Society of S. - Susan Hubbard

(Very slow book. The general idea was good but it lacked a grat story line. Would not put this on a list of must-reads!

message 23: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 25. Firespell - Chloe Neill

(This book was good, and I hope it was a setup for a series. If not, I'm not sure about how it ended!)

message 24: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 26. Hourglass - Claudia Gray

(I have loved this series from the first book. This was a great addition.)

message 25: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 27. Dark Places - Gillian Flynn

(This was a really great book. The premise is very sad and there will be no happily ever after. But the emotions are well expressed and you feel something for everyone, villians and victims.)

Amie | 102 comments 28. Thirteen Reason Why - Jay Asher

(This was a well written, emotional book. I truly believe that this is a book that many will have a connection to. I know most people will read the cover and just think it is about a suicide, but really it is about the way people treat each other. How actions can have an effect on people. As an adult who lost a sibling to suicide many years ago, I felt jealous that there where answers to so many questions. But then, in the end, the same feeling of loss and no answers to the questions you'd want to ask. This book has brought me tears, memories, and those "coulda, shoulda, woulda" ideas. This book also brought me a sense of hope. The future isn't bleak, or set in stone. Anyone can make a difference.)

Amie | 102 comments 29. Willow - Julia Hoban

(I read this book and could keep the song "Everybody Hurts" by REM out of my head. This books shows you have to look outside yourself sometimes to find the answers you look for.)

message 28: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 30. The Body Finder - Kimberly Derting

(A really great read. I can't wait to see what this author publishes next.)

message 29: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 31. Midnight Sun - Stephanie Meyer

(I really hope she changes her mind and completes this series! Even unedited this was only of the best stories I've read! If you haven't read this and love the Twilight series, download this and enjoy!)

Amie | 102 comments 32. Stopping Time - Melissa Marr

(A prequel to her newbook Radiant Shadows, out the end of the month. The Wickedly Lovely series has been great so far, I can't wait to see what happens next!)

Amie | 102 comments I happen to really enjoy all of Rachel Vincent's books. She also has a young adult series (The Soul Screamers) that is good.

Amie | 102 comments 38. Midnight Alley - Rachel Caine

I'm really enjoying this series, but I'm so engrossed I'm putting off books I've been waiting for. I become so addicited to easily! So many books not enough time!

Amie | 102 comments 40. Burned - PC & Kristen Cast

message 40: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 41. Gone - Lisa McMann

I loved the first 2 books of this trilogy, and the 3rd is ok, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if it came out closer to the last. I ended up having to read the last few chapters of FADE to remember what was going on. But on the flip side, I love it when a series has a real ending. In all, a great series.

message 45: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 46. If I Stay - Gayle Forman

This is one of the best books I've read since starting this group. This book captured so much emotion is such a short time. There doesn't seem to be a single wasted word. If you haven't already read this book, READ IT!

message 46: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 46. Tainted - Brooke Morgan

This was a good book. And a first novel for this author. I'll be interested to see if her next book will be as good. If you like mystery/thrillers, check this out.

message 47: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 47. Before I Fall-Lauren Oliver

message 48: by Amie (new)

Amie | 102 comments 48. Last Night I Sang to the Monster - Benjamin Alire Saenz

A really good book about addictions and if someone really can have a second chance. At times it was a really tough but, but was worth it in the end.

Amie | 102 comments 49. Whisper - Phoebe Kitanidis
