ayunda!
We are just happy you are reading some... Me and Z seem to pushed each other in competing truly. You know Indonesian books would be counted as well. You don't have to read all English. I bet you would find some great books on the culture. I try to read books about other areas of the world. Sometimes it is hard to find a book written by an other from that particular country, someone who isn't American with a skewed point of view.
i don't know why but i don't like reading.now i think its wonderful that you are reading and how do you get those lines throw the book title
yay!! today's Sunday, so I can't go to the school library. But I'll borrow a book tomorrow. I'm not really a fast reader, cause sometimes I have lots of homework or projects..
I'm with Zia. If I'm into the book, I read it every chance I get, but I also understand your point Ayunda. I have a lot of homework too, and thinking about it now, I have a research paper that's due next Friday. :(((
That's good if you are into a book. I try to finish it quickly as well. Not really for reading fast but to find out what happens next.
What is the research paper on?
What is the research paper on?
"You will pick a foreign country. Research the culture of that country. (Food, religions, clothing, jobs, agriculture, families, holidays, and traditions.) Write your findings in a research paper and give a short presentation."I've decided to do Denmark.
Yep! I missed the deadline, told my teacher, and had to finish it this weekend. I just finished a few minutes ago.
I'm glad that it is done. Crossing my fingers so you get a good grade. ;)
yay I reached 2000! and 10 books! I hope I can keep going... there are too much tests this week, and my computer's broken :(
That's terrible; can you get it fixed? That's great! You'll be able to keep reading. Tests are nothing but tiny, microscopic distractions. Books are gargantuous (that means really big)! LOL. You'll find time, trust me. :)
yes, but in a long time... But I can borrow from someone else ^^thanks anyway, I'm still reading a lot though!!
Your doing great. Good Luck with the computer. I'm glad you can borrow one. =)
sorry, I mean pages. And, I haven't been on because I had lots of tests so I couldn't be online. but now I've finished all my tests and it's already a holiday!
That's awesome! When do yall have to go back?We only get like exactly 2 months out here. We got out May 21st and go back Aug 2nd... :(
only a month, but that's longer than usual! I'll be back on July 12th. I'm in Indonesia, after all...
Oh, true. Didn't think about that. I wrote a research paper on Indonesia for school this year just past. :D Wish you could read it (typed it, print, forgot to save it). Would like to know how it is for someone who actually lives there.July 12th?! wow.... I feel really grateful now for being given even only two months. You people on GRs make me feel so grateful of everything I have... :)
Alrighty. I will send it when I get on computer at home. Would send it now, but don't have my jump drive with me. :)
