50 Books' Book Club discussion

I am not sure what happend to this group, but I noticed that it lost its fomer moderator so I have stepped in to try and get things running again. Because things have fallen behind, and two books have been nominated for January I think I will hold off nominations for Febuary, I have opened up the disucssion threads for our two Janaurary books Empire of the Sun and Bridehead Revisisted.

Yeah! Thanks for stepping up. I fell behind reading w/ the holidays (I was just reading slowly and for short periods of time) and won't get to either of the current selections. I'm ready for the next one, though! What's everyone reading now?

It was a bit of a tough read in the middle but now I'm dying to read the last 100 pages or so.
