Niki clung to her purse that hung around her shoulder, biting her lip, not knowing her surrounding well because she had just moved here

Niki smiled an embarrassed smile, and waved back a small wave

Niki walked timidly over. "Umm...do you know where the park is? I'm supposed to meet my dad there."

Niki smiled better this time. "Thanks!"

"Niki." She replied

"Same." She adjusted the purse on her shoulder

Niki nodded sheepishly. "My family has moved many times, to the point where I never understand my surroundings." She admitted

Niki looked at the ground and mumbled to herself, "Not when your used to it..."

Niki glanced up at him

Niki shrugged. "At the moment, I think that everything here is confusing," she smiles. "But I like it anyways"

Niki nodded. "So...are we close to the park yet?"

Niki peered around the corner and smiled, her dad was there

Niki ran up to her dad and hopped in

Niki sighed as she stared out the window

Niki's dad drove to their house

Niki hopped out and went to her box filled room

Niki sighed and heaved up a heavy box onto her just made bed and rummaged through it

Niki placed them where they belonged and once she was finished with that box, she sighed. "So much stuff..."

Niki placed the next one on her bed, then the next, then the next....

Niki nodded, thinking that she did a good job on her room once everything was finished

Niki hopped out of her room and she called to her parents that she was going to walk around the block

Niki walked with a spring in her step and looked over at her neighbor.

Niki paused at the house and looked at who was in the driveway. She squinted. He looked familiar

Then a click went in her head. Jason. Niki walked behind him. "What'cha doin'?"

"Sorry." Niki apologized.

Niki smiled weakly and crouched down

"Eh, not much. I just finished unpacking most of what I got." Niki replied

Niki pointed to her house. It was next door.

Niki's smiled widened, "I know right?"

"Oh yeah!" Niki hooted.
Her dad called her name, wanting her help.
Niki sighed. "Well, that's my dad. Sorry, but I gotta go. See ya later?"

Niki grinned. "That just might be a possibility."

Niki waved good bye as she rushed up to meet her dad to see what he wanted.

Niki discussed with her dad and found out that the truck had come back and that there was more boxes to empty. She sighed. "i'll go unpack..." Niki mumbled

Niki picked up a box and lumbered it to her bed.

Once she was done with the load she wiped her sweaty brow and looked out her window. Niki looked down and saw Jason asleep on the driveway. She hopped down the stairs and skipped down the porch once she opened up the door.

Niki strode to Jason and crouched down, poking his shoulder

"Hi Sleeping Beauty." Niki giggled

Niki grinned.

"Not much, just that I thought about your offer."

"About tonight?" Niki said

Niki grinned back. "I just have to tell my dad, otherwise he might go crazy until im back."

Niki hopped up and ran towards her dad to tell him.

"Yes Niki?" Her dad asked
"Oh dad? I'm going out tonight? Is that fine with you?" She said before he could reply, "Thanks so much!"

Niki waited for him to get done
