You bet! I am at your service!!!
Hi everyone! Thanks for the invite, Danielle! You were the one who got me hooked on Kleypas, so I should have guessed you'd be one of the moderators. LOL Make sure there is a thread for the discussion of how dreamy St. Vincent is, and I'll be happy to spend the majority of my time here!

Thanks for volunteering, Vale, Dhestiny, and Anne. I think we have enough moderators for now.I guess I should have said what a moderator does first.
Moderator Role:
1. Keep conversation flowing
2. Organize folders and topics
3. If conversation turns into squabbles, take control and keep things polite.
4. Change picture (perhaps monthly or every two months we can rotate pictures of LK books to use, or if you have a nice foreign cover-by all means).
Huh?! I thought I was just saying hello! How did I end up as a moderator?! Eeeeeek! LOLDanielle, I'm an idiot, as I'm sure you can tell from our correspondence. You can't put me in charge of anything! I don't know anything about being a moderator! Help!

Vale and Dhestiny, would you mind creating threads for the different books? You can check her booklist or the poll to see what her different books are. If you're really motivated, you can post the blurb in the thread, and a picture of the cover. Thanks!
OK, I'll do that. I was trying to figure out how you wanted it done. Can you spell it out? I need it.

You can model them after the thread I created for Devil in WinterThe thread is called by the name of the book.
You can put a picture of the book in the first post, and if you want, copy the blurb from the Goodreads description. You don't have to. You can just put something general like, "Let's discuss Again the Magic in this thread."
Danielle, don't you want your Devil In Winter thread in the Books folder? That's where I was going to start, or do you want the individual books listed in General with Devil In Winter?

It should be in the books thread. I think I just forgot to put it there. I'm very absent-minded, if you hadn't noticed. :)

Thanks! What would you like me to post next? I'm not familiar with her other series', but I am sure I can get it from Good Reads. I know, I'll do Bow Street now.

That sounds good. If you do the Bow Street books, I can tackle her older books, and we'll go from there. Thanks!

I THINK I've got them all. Let me know. I used Fantastic Fiction as well as Goodreads to put it together. I didn't do the anthologies, though.

If you are interested in being a moderator, I'd be happy to make you one, Bekah. No worries, Vale. I understand busy. :)

Danielle, how would you feel about making a folder called "A Day In The Life Of..." and moving Bekah's thread (the furniture, tools one) to that folder. I want to make a thread for vocabulary and things like religious beliefs or laws of the time. I love the idea of having some educational information there as it will make reading even more fulfilling.
Bekah wrote: "Good idea...maybe this will fit under the lifestyles folder?"I want to move the lifestyles thread to the new folder as well. I feel like the more organized we keep things, the easier it is for new members to find their way around, as well as older members. I don't think Danielle will mind at all, but I'd rather discuss it as mods before just moving things around, you know?

Danielle, I've been trying to create a folder called The Folder of Higher Education or Class Is In Session. Each time I create it, I click "save" and it says the folder was created, but then it can't be found anywhere. Is there a setting that allows only certain people to create a folder or am I doing something else wrong?

Hi, Dhestiny. You have to create the folder and then go back to the thread and click on edit, then move it to the folder. That's the only way I know how to do it. Does that make sense?
Kinda, but I can't even create a folder and have to stay. As soon as I close out, after it says folder created, the folder is gone.

I looked and found the thread you created. When you go under a topic, click on edit, and then click on the box for folder and scroll down. It should be in there. I went ahead and moved the thread under the Higher Education folder you made.
Thank you. Was the folder "Folder of Higher Education already created? I gave up after several tries last night, but I see it now. Did you create it?

I have mixed feelings about suggesting this, but here goes. How about challenges - but not very specific. I was thinking of monthly themes like for March, we could do St. Patricks Day. Choices could includeBooks with green covers
Books about faeries or leprchauns
Books about Ireland or featuring Irish characters
Books with Irish or Ireland or Patrick or etc... in the title.
Books about snakes (St Patty rid Ireland of snakes) etc...
I love challenges, but some are too constricting so I thought something with very loose requirements might be fun.
What say yous all?
