2010 books in 2010! (sike, just 100!) discussion

ok i am going to try and copy and paste my list from the 50 books a yr group to save time :)

This was the third time I have read the Sookie Stackhouse books and I love them every time I read them.

9 - Killing Kiss - Sam Stone

I really enjoyed this book although it left me wanting more, like the story is only just getting started so I will be looking up the next book in the vampire gene 09-01-10

10 - The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold

I was not convinced this book would be for me when it was reccomended by a friend but as normal I had to find that out for myself and boy am I glad I did. From the first page the book hooked me and I have never read anything like this and would highly reccommend it. 10/01/10

I loved this book and parts of it brought tears to my eyes. It was unputdownable and I read it in one sitting!!

I would have given this book 5 stars but it took me soooooooo sooooo long to get into. After the first 100 pages I loved it.

I enjoyed evermore but did not love it, I will be sure to read the next in the series but I was not overwhelmed with the writing style of the characters.

loved them both, found the host hard to get into but once i got past first 100 pages I loved it and I love Ian lol

I too found it hard to get into. I think everyone who reads it does :P
but it's so worth it!

I really liked this book, liked the characters especially patch, i liked the portrayal of the fall angel etc. It is definatly worth reading and i really enjoyed it. My ony critasism is that the story diddnt excite me or grab me as much as i would have liked....

I love the vampire academy books. I feel the same way about the end of Shadow Kiss.

man you make me feel like such a slacker. seeing your list reminds me just how far behind I've fallen in my reading!

I love the vampire academy soooo much!!! Dont feel bad angel, as long as you are enjoying what you read thats the main thing!!!! DOnt forget you have spend ages writing and editing your book!!

I'm enjoying it, but I'm kinda mad at myself. I never read so little. And that's right we'll blame it on my wiritng! how's yours going by the way?

as long as you enjoy what you read though... if you read when your not in the mood it wont be good!

true...but that hasn't been it. i can't find my glasses so my eyes get tired really easy

SAD.... I cant read much until after tuesday so i doubt i will be adding any more to my list before then!

Yeah I know I just read it but it was a week ago as yes you heard right, i went a week without reading.. anyway really wanted to read this again as i loved the story and the suprises in it!!! Now need to get onto some of my shiny new books, esp march challenge ones as I am way behind and have tonnes to read this month!!

LOVED IT .... I am falling for Adrian now too!! Realy can not wait for the next book in the series to come out... if anyone has not read this series DO IT its awesome!!!

A really good book but I cant say I will read it again, for those of you that have not heard of the book it is Alice Seabolds story of how she was brutaly raped in her first year of college and some of her life in the years after. The book is very grafic and I found it difficult to read because of this. I am glad I finished the book and would recommend it. I would not have picked up this book if i had known it was a true story from the author as I would have known I would find this difficult.

whew...as long as I don't have to wait three books to see him again I'll be okay! And I like him, but he pisses me off!

yeah it carries on like that but i guessim used to it... i love him lmfao... you will be really pissed off with a charecter at end of book four....

OH i saw remember me last night,.... AMAZING pass the work around.... mr R patz was awesome but the film as a whole was really good!!!

Oh dang, I'm dying to finish the series now!!! I just got books 2 & 3 yesterday! I'll be getting to those very soon!

I've been wanting to see that, I'm glad to hear it's good!
