I love Romance, but have been reading a lot less of it lately as I try to expand my scope. Other question is, do first names count? I see some people have been using the Author's first name, but didnt see where it was ok in the rules?

Not at all, to tell you the truth sometimes I do not even work in one single romance in, but that's just me. I'm contrary like that.

The point is: any genre goes.

Yes they do count. I usually go for the last name, but first count too (it's especially helpful with letters like 'Y')

You can also use novella's or short stories, which includes individual stories from anthologies. Helps when either you're running outta time or looking for difficult letters.
