Which historical romance books are your favorites? Do you have some all-time-favorites in your HR shelf? Maybe some you re-read every year or two?

original 1985 - I think she did some rewriting for the 2006 edition. - haven't reread for a while.
One I re-read fairly often is Once an Angel by Teresa Medeiros.

Right now, I think my favorite historical romance of all time is On Leaving Charleston by Alexandra Ripley. I read it so long ago, I wonder if I'd feel the same about it now. I guess I'll to get my hands on a copy and find out :)

That's great to know. I have that one on my shelf, and I was just thinking that I'm overdue for a historical romance.
