Sophie walked out of the back of the resturant that she worked nights in, walking towards her house.

Skyla sat down on the sidewalk,in a ball.

Skyla snapped back to attention.She saw a girl with a dog.

Skyla smiled at Maria.

Skyla noticed a car,and looked at it with interest.It was blackish.She tilted her head.

Sophie jumped up onto the sidewalk as she crossed the street and started to head home in the dark. she pulled out a cigaretter and lit it.

Skyla's eyes widened,and she ran to the girl,hoping to help.

"No!"Skyla said as the car went away.She searched for her cell,only to realize that she had smashed it by accident the other day.She cursed in French.

Sophie started fighting harder, she felt herself hit the bottom of the trunk and stopped, she pulled the bag off her head and looked aroumd her.

She ran after the car as fast as she could,and yelled,"Arrêter!"over and over.It meant stop in French.

Sophie started to hit the top of the trunk, trying to get it to open.

"Arrêter!Arrêter!Stop!Stop!"she yelled,catching up with the car.The window was rolled down,so she yelled,"Lâche-la!"to the driver.It meant Let her go!in French.

Skyla was panting,on the road still.She was walking toward where the man had taken off to.

Sophie looked up at the bat in terror and felt it hit her, making her unconcious.

Slowly Sophie started to wake up, dizzy, and having no idea where she was.

Danyel walked down the street. He and Pit had set up an arrangement. They both get a girl, and then put up ransoms to get some money. It was easier than working.

Not yet. Gotta find the one who looks like a better reward. He walked past Skyla and smiled at her necklace. "What are you doing in the middle of the road?" He called to her.

His phone signaled a text and he picked it up, texting back: Got her.

Sophie looked at him, scarred, "Wh-Whats happening?" She asked in a small voice, cracking at the end.

Danyel walked up to Skyla. He walked around her, eyeing her necklace. When he was sure of how to take her, he put the bad over her head, gagging her mouth. He hated doing this to a girl, but they needed the money. He put her in his truck and drove off.

Sophie felt tears in her eyes, "Why...? For what?"

Sophie's throat closed but she managed to nodd as she felt the tears start coming down her cheeks.

Danyel pulled up in the driveway. He brought Skyla in the room and ungagged her, taking off her necklace. He got up and stood by Pit.

"What do you want me to do." She said, trying hard not to sob.

Sophie looked up at him with tears in her eyes and looked away again, wiping her face, "Why me?" She said, looking at him again.

Danyel looked at Sophie. "She's cute." He commented.

Sophie looked up at him, "She's right here."

Danyel ignored her and looked at Pit. "How much you think she'll sell for?"

Sophie glared at him, "Again. she is right here." she said through her teeth.

Danyel nodded to Sophie. "Sorry, miss... What's your name?"

"Sophie." She said, looking away after.

"Sorry, Sophie." He turned back to Pit. He remembered what their boss had said, but he was being polite.

Sophie just looked at the ground, hugging her knees closer to her.

"Dude, we need the money." He looked at Sophie and Skyla, then led Pit outside and closed the door. "Boss's orders."

Danyel nodded.

Ali walked outside from the back entrance of the library. It was darker than she had thought.

Ali shivvered in the cold.

Danyel looked at him. "What do we do with them?"

as soon as they both stepped outside sophie started really crying, shoulders heaving and tears streaming down her face.

"Donnez-moi mon collier de retour!"Skyla screamed.She was crying and growling and biting at the kidnapper.

Danyel looked at Pit. "Do you feel as bad about this as I do?"

sophie hugged her knees to her chest tighter, closing her eyes and sobbing still.

"Donner mon collier pour moi maintenant!"Skyla yelled,and tried to bite Danyel.

Danyel gave her a warning look. "Listen, I can't." He closed his eyes. "We need the money. It looks valuable and..."

"NO!GIVE IT BACK DAMN YOU!"Skyla screamed at the top of her lungs,speaking english,and biting Danyel hard on the arm.
