If you are on twitter, there are some great ongoing dicussions taking place under the hashtags #dearpublisher and #dearblogger. You really should be checking them out if you are or want to be involved in either blogging, reviewing, or interacting with people in that field.
Help, please. I do not have a blog. It seems that the only way that one can sign up for a giveway is to have a blog.I don't know the first idea how to set one up or how much it cost, or even does someone else have to set it up for. would someone please point me in the right direction?
Karen, a lot of times you don't have to have a blog to sign up for a giveaway, you just have to be a follower. You can follow a couple different ways, but I think the easiest way to follow is to have a gmail account. At least that's how I understand it. Hope that works for you/helps!

I HIGHLY recommend this blog! It made my Spotlight Saturday and I think alot of you would enjoy it!
I have a twitter: @adivineeternityAnd I have a blog: Dreaming of a Life Well-Lived
My blog is actually more of me sharing my adventures after graduating from college, but I'll probably post occasional reviews of books I really enjoy and want to highlight. I have trouble writing book reviews, though, because I just never know what to write. Whatever.
Whoops. I havent checked in this thread for three weeks.
Hi Amanda! I hope lots of people check out your blog, I love your wit and humor. You make the classics fun!!
Erika, I cannot wait to see what you review. I love how you are paying closer attention to the lesser known authors and novels. They hold a special place in my heart. While I don't pick mine based on how many reviews they get, I certainly seem to be drawn to the underdogs - people have no clue what they are missing!

My book review blog is called Reading While Female. I only review books written by women. I just started a few weeks ago, but I have a few reviews up already. I might also add some music and art reviews as I get going this semester. I have been looking around at other people's reviews, and there are so many great blogs. It's so cool to follow what other people are reading and discussing.
I put this under the promotional thread, but I guess it belongs here better.I started my own blog which can be found at:
www.thecraftyreader.blogspot.com .
I also have a group blog with people I met from TNBBC- we can be found at: www.bookviners.blogspot.com .
There are some giveaways coming up so please keep checking back. :-)
