This month, our Books of the Month are:
Science Fiction: Darwinia: A Novel of a Very Different Twentieth Century by Robert Charles Wilson
Fantasy: The Bone Doll's Twin by Lynn Flewelling
I've set up the polls and discussion folders, so we're all set to go! I didn't get the chance to read either book (although I may get to Darwinia later this month), so if anyone would like to volunteer to lead the discussion, please send me a message. All it involves is posting some questions relevant to the book every few days, and making sure spoiler and non-spoiler threads are clearly marked.
We also have most of the schedule for the next few months:
March Fantasy: Flesh and Spirit by Carol Berg
March Science Fiction: This Alien Shore by C.S. Friedman
April Fantasy: Boneshaker by Cherie Priest
April Science Fiction: the tie-breaker is still running! (and hopefully we'll get a result after 3 rounds...)
The polls about our November books have ended. Neither book made it into the Hall of Fame, either because it didn't receive enough votes or the average score was too low.
As always, if you didn't read our Books of the Month, there's the General SF&F Discussion folder where you're invited to talk about any other books you're reading this month, or anything else related to science fiction and fantasy. And, if you're new to the group, please take a moment to say hi in the Member Introductions topic!
