If you were to make a list of
3 1/2 do's and 3 1/2 don'ts
what would they be? I'll start :O)
DO:
1. Read Dan Poynter's
The Self-Publishing Manual
2. Do the homework at the end of his book
3. Take a look at
http://www.greenleafbookgroup
3 1/2. See yourself as a business person, if you are going to get that book out.
DON'T:
1. Think you have to wait to promote until the book is done.
2. Throw away your rough drafts
3. Forget to back up your work :O)
3 1/2. Neglect your friends
