You might be wondering why I am starting a thread on Vincent. He is only a dog, after all. Oooorrr, Is he?

I dont know why, but I think Vincent is the key to understanding the whole island.

well. He somehow survived the plane crash, but wouldnt he have been stored in the belly of the plane, with the luggage and stuff?

He sees and understands Christian Shepard, who may or may not be dead.

He disappears for long periods of time.
I dont think he is ever around when we see Smokey...

I dont know, I just get the feeling there is more to him than we think there is...

Oh maybe... he understands people, who are ghosts, and he should've died. I think your right, but then again, everything has more to it then we think.

All I know is that I love when we see Vincent! And alittle trivia here, Vincent is a girl dog.

I truly think Vincent is just a part of the island who manifest itself as the dog, it seemed that way last night anyway with Jack's dad sending the dog to wake his son and all ...

I want to know why Vincent wasnt saved with the rest of the O6.... Who the heck is taking care of the poor dog?

I still say he is part of the island... maybe we will see a shot later in the show where one of the left behind survivors are taking a walk and come across the bones of a dog... {insert twilight zone musak here}

I think he must be a part of the island. I mean, who is taking care of him. (gasp!) Could it be Jacob????

Duuuude... Whose turn is it to watch the dog?
Where has Vincent been? Shouldnt he be aware that there are new, evil people on the island and that perhaps, just perhaps, our survivors require a little doggie intervention?

Like how about when Richard ambushed Kate and Sayid, that would have been a good time!
