What book(s) has your attention right now?

I'm reading a few books right now:

Nightkeepers by Jessica Anderson (PNR)

And the Bride Wore White: Seven Secrets to Sexual Purity by Dannah Gresh (non-fiction)

Runaway Ranch: Titled Texans by Cynthia Sterling (historical western)

Spring Fancy '94: Grace and the Law/Lightfoot and Loving/Out of the Dark/3 Stories in 1 Volume (contemporary romance omnibus)

im reading the immortals after dark series and the accidental friends series from dakota cassidy, this series just has me laughing out loud.

I love a good book that makes me laugh.

I'm reading Master of Ecstasy and so far I'm really liking this book. Funny like Kresley Cole's books.

I love books with humor, it makes the reading go by so much faster. People always find it funny when they see me laughing out loud to a book.

I mainly like to read contemporary books and I tend to see something funny and start laughing.

If I read a humor book, it better tickle me.

I love funny books, myself.

Reading A Rose at Midnight by Anne Stuart, which fits right in with this group. :-) Hero is one of her usual baddies, heroine is his weak spot, mmmmm.

I started Hotter After Midnight by Cynthia Eden. So far, I'm really enjoying it.

Just finishedThe Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie ....EXCELLENT book!


Now I startedTouch Me byLucy Monroe...so far so good, about 1/2 way thru and really enjoying it!

Heidi, I also LOVED The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie. GREAT read!

What I'm reading doesn have a dangerous hero in it,,,,,,,,,,unless he's dangerous in the boardroom and I have'nt seen much of that just yet. I'm reading AFFAIR WITH THE REBEL HEIRESS by Emily McKay, Silhouette Desire.

--It's a way to keep my momentum going if I get stalled in one book. The non-fiction book is not one that I'd read straight through.

I like reading more books at one time. If one starts to lag, I have another to read.

I like Suzanne Brockmann's characters. Some of them.

I didn't read all her books in order.

I've read Gone Too Far (My first Suzanne Brockmann book) before Defiant Hero and Over The Edge.

I've read Into The Storm, before I've read Flashpoint.

I've never really read Unsung Hero. I've just looked for Sam and Alyssa's part.

I've never read Cosmo book. Breaking Point, I think it is. I have the book.

I just finished Nina Bangs's Master of Ecstasy and really liked it. Would recommend this book, funny and romantic and a little sad.

Some people can read books out of order and some can't. I read for Sam, Alyssa, Dave and Sophia. That's why I can read her books out of order.

After reading your posts, I mainly want to read Sam and Alyssa's story. But I have Unsung Hero, Breaking Point, Force of Nature, and Flashpoint from that series.

They are in Unsung Hero. That's the book they are introduced in. But, their parts are very small.

If you can get the following books from the library. Check them out.

I'm reading Midnight's Daughter. I'll consider some of the Vampires and Fae as Dangerous Heros.

I am reading and listening to on audio a re-read for me. Both are good!!

I just finished Long Hard Ride by Lorelei James. And am slowly working my way through The Mane Event by Shelley Laurenston. I'm also thinking of adding Fallen by Lauren Kate in the mix.

I finished Midnight's Daughter and it was pretty good. I'm now reading Death's Mistress.

I've started Then You Hide (Bullet Catcher, #7)
by Roxanne St. Claire, yesterday.

Oh, Arch. I have that series to read still. Is it good? As good as Brockmann's and Gerard's series?

I like this one, you have your alpha males, magical war, and all sorts of good stuff.

Is book 2 better than 1, Darcy? I tried doing a group read of book 1 and most of us, if not all, couldn't finish it.

Currently reading and almost finished with Tempt Me ...it has a 20+ page love scene! I was like Holy Cow Batman thats one loooong scene! Not to mention steamy!

As it's book 2, should it be read in order or is it ok as a stand alone?
