After Harry Potter RP discussion

((the Room of Requirement))

Scorpius walked into the Room of Requirement. He took out his wand and began to practice spells.

((the little twerp))

Lauren stepped into the Room of Requirement, and froze when she saw Scorpius.

((ah well...))

Scorpius smirked. "What would a filthy half-blood like yourself be doing here?" he sneered.

Lauren flinched. "Why do you care?" she replied.

((btw, Lauren is made-up... I'm only asuming that Neville and Hannah had a child...))

"Fair enough. You should leave now before I hex you out."

((I'll cut her off. Say something to cut her off plz!!))

"You're in no position to make threats. My dad-"

((okay!))

"Your dad? That sorry excuse for a teacher? I've never heard a more pathetic excuse."

Lauren bit back tears. "Shut up! Just shut up! At least my father wasn't a Death Eater!"

"You shouldn't throw comments like that around so freely. Allow me to show you what happens to those who insult my family. Sectumsempra!" Scorpius said, wand raised and pointed directly at Lauren.

"Protego Horribilus!" Lauren said, her voice shrill. "You would use that!? Stupefy!"

"Protego!" Scorpius said, bored. "You should learn some new spells. Let me demonstrate. Father would never approve if I didn't demonstrate the spells he taught me. Mobilcorpus!"

((*hiss* I hate that spell. but I love it at the same time...))

Lauren spluttered and stiffened. She struggled against the spell, though she knew that it was no use.

((lol!))

"Now you'll see what a real hex can do," Scorpius flicked his wand and sent Lauren across the room and into a wall.

((deja vu much?))

((yes...it's too familiar))

Lauren screamed in agony. "You're mad!" she hissed.

Scorpius laughed. "Pathetic. I expected more," he sneered. "What a pity."

Lauren tried to stand, but instead fell back in pain. She tried to recall the Healing Charm.

((wow...this is my first charrie that doesn't know Episkey))

Scorpius felt a stab of guilt. He pointed his wand at her. "Episkey!"

Lauren wiped away the few tears that had escaped her eyes. "What was that for?" she glared at him.

Scorpius shrugged. "Out of pity," he replied coldly.

((gtg...and at the best moment too D:))

Lauren stared at him for a moment. Then she stood, wand still clutched tightly in her hand.

"I won't try anything else," Scorpius said simply.

Lauren stared at him, then loosen her grip on her wand. "For some odd reason, I trust you," she told him. "But don't think for a minute that I will forget what happened here."

"I wouldn't expect you to," Scorpius replied. "I can help you with, uh, your spells."

((sorry, no better way to put it))

Lauren gave him a skeptical look. "I-I guess," she replied nervously.

((ya...I personally can't imagine a Malfoy with Neville's daughter...))

Scorpius smiled slightly. "Tomorrow, then. At 8:00."

Lauren nodded. She walked past him and quickly fled to the Hufflepuff common room.

Scorpius sighed. He walked out after her and to the Slytherin common room.

Scorpius walked into the Room. He sat on a bench that had appeared and waited for Lauren.

Lauren walked into the Room. She bit her lip slightly when she saw Scorpius. Calm down. It'll be alright, she told herself.

"What spells do you know already?" Scorpius asked.

Lauren listed a few basic spells. "Stupefy, Rennervate, Expeliarmus, ((and the like. VERY basic))"

((lol. that's kinda sad))

Scorpius grimaced. "Okay, try Levicorpus on that dummie," he told her.

((you bet it is. The good part is that, unlike Neville, she is good DADA))

Lauren bit her lip and nodded. She pointed her wand at the dummy. "Levicorpus!" the dummy flipped upside down.

((and charms I s'pose))

"Good," Scorpius acknowledged. "Now try it non-verbally."

Lauren nodded and pressed her lips together. Levicorpus! she thought. Once more, the dummy flipped upside down.

"Great!" he said.

((oh oh oh!!! *cough*Legilimancy*cough*))

((ooh kay))

"Ok. Next, let's try something a bit more advanced. How does Legilimancy sound?"

"I-I'm not sure," Lauren began. "It's dangerous, and I don't..." she trailed off

"It's useful to know."

"I-okay," Lauren sighed. "But who am I going to practice on?"

"Me," Scorpius said. "I know how to protect myself. I know what to let you see. You'll just see things that happened during this meeting."

Lauren nodded nervously.

"The spell is 'Legilimens,' try it," Scorpius urged.

Lauren nodded again. She pointed her wand at him. "Legilimens!"
"Good now try it non-verbally," Scorpius said.

Scorpius closed his mind. "You're good at this," he said smiling.

((why, is it that your main characters always know Legilimancy?))
