I'm a huge fan of the series--devoured them all last summer, bought the Twilight DVD, and saw New Moon three times. However, because I am twenty-five and in grad school for literature, I feel embarrassed to tell people how much I like it or let them see the New Moon poster in my room. Many people find the series trite because of the fan girls, but I really enjoyed it; it's a nice escape from all of the theory, etc. that I read on a normal basis.
Thus, I was just wondering if there is anyone else who feels this way and is not a teenager.
I feel like you. Im 25, and work fulltime. I watched all the movies and read the books at the same time. It took me about 2 months to get through all the books in the series. I find myself being a "closet" twilight fan around certain people. But we shouldnt be ashamed...great stories by a great writer.
