You could ask everyone one what books and series they would like to discuss and than add discussions on them that way you can get everyone active in the group. I agree that games are a good way to keep people active in a group, they have from some of my groups. Also you could have the group vote one books to read monthly, you could do it by theme or however you want to. Last maybe you could add a discussion where people can share book suggestions, cause it seems like there are always people on here that are looking for new ideas on what to read. Well that's all I could come up with for now, I hope that helps.
