Icefire *Completely lost* I FINISHED! It's not that good, but who cares?

The wind was blowing. But did he care? Did he, with all his vampire skills and glamor care?
No.
Adam was slinking through the shadows. The city was quiet, and the vampires of his clan were out hunting. Hunting. That's what they called it. Like the humans were some kind of dirty animal. But, they were animals, in the crudest sense. That's what the Elders had always told him. But did it help Adam when he leapt down on the unwary prey and bit and drained the life force out of the human?
No.
He knew he was a new vampire. He would have to get use to all of this killing. A human every night. No one would miss them, for the city was huge. When there's about two million people in a city, no one notices if one person disappears every night. But he still felt it was wrong to kill. The vampires scorned him for this. But there was one vampire that understood him and his opinions . . .
Adam turned. A woman, looking like she was in her mid-twenties, walked out of the shadows. She looked like she had been born from the shadows. Her skin was pale, and her fangs were showing slightly. When she saw Adam, her smiled, her white teeth showing off. "Fancy meeting you here."
Adam grinned. "You knew I was here Amber."
Amber rolled her eyes. "Of course I did. You make more noise than a human sometimes."
"I was quiet this time!" Adam protested.
"No way, you scared off my meal."
"Oh come on. Fine then, I'll find another one for you." Adam groaned.
"Yeah, you better make it a good one!" Amber grinned.
"Come on, let's go." Adam grabbed her hand and lugged her off. Normally, he was nervous around vampires. They were cruel, and enjoyed tormenting him. But Amber was different. She was nice, but fierce at the same time. Kind of like a warrior princess. It was just easier to be around her.
The two creatures of the night disappeared into the shadows.
