Hello. I'm currently reading The Picture of Dorian Gray.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo...almost finished. I have lots of books sideloaded from my Sony 700, so I don't know what I'll read next.
Now I'm reading The Girl Who Played with Fire, I could not resist reading the 2d in the series...and I'm usually not a series reader.
Katie, that is such an exciting read! I've pre-ordered the 3rd book for my nook, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest and can't wait until it's available!
I finished The Picture of Dorian Gray, and now I'm reading Bramwell Valley, by John Harold McCoy. Unlike the horror books I usually read, this is more of a light, whimsical story.

I'm sad the series ends there. He had manuscripts for a 4th and 5th novel, and synopses for 5th and 6th novels, with a wish to put out 10 novels. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stieg_La...

And it fits in so well with the artistic/superficiality found in his plays. How did you end up liking it?
I've been thinking about reading Phillip Pullman's Sally Lockhart series because I liked The Golden Compass so much. Has anyone read it?

I enjoyed it. There were a couple of sections where it just droned on and on with uninteresting details, but it was a great story.

Just started reading the new Christopher Moore book, Bite Me. So far, not what I'd expected, really loved his last book Fool. *fingers crossed* that it gets better.
I'm reading "The Blind Side." Learning all kinds of stuff about football I never knew. Only 20 pages in, so I'll let y'all know more when I know more.
I'm currently reading "Gone" by Jonathan Kellerman. Another of his addictive Alex Delaware series~love it!
I just finished Wench. Moloka'i is up next...I'll probably start in on Monday...I have a "little" Indy car race to go to tomorrow (wine and cheese on a spectacularly landscaped track).
I'm reading Angelology. There isn't as much action as I had hoped for. There is a ton of background and description. I almost stopped reading it, but I perservered and now I want to see how it ends (more than halfway thru of reading to really get into it). Be prepared to read the word "angelologist" quite a bit.
Hi everyone! I'm new to this group and nook. Right now I'm reading Strawberry Shortcake Murder by Joanne Fluke, it's a cute, quick read.
Welcome, Susan! I'm reading right now Horns. I'm enjoying it, although it's been "uneven". It keeps getting better as I go along, and I've become totally biased knowing that he's Stephen King's son. (Sorry, Joe, but it did influence me--although I'm suspecting he's going to be better than his dad over the course of his career!)

Just heard about this author a few weeks ago, can't wait to try one of his books.

I thought this book would be similar to a Dan Brown book, with history and plot, but the plot was lame. And in the end, it left me confused and wishing I had read something else.
I've finished
and am also disappointed in the ending. I still think it was uneven, parts being engrossing, parts quite lame, but the ending was especially bleh.

Just started reading "Beatrice and Virgil" by Yann Martel (author of Life of Pi). The first chapter is already captivating.
I'm reading Dracula, which came on the Nook when I bought it last month. Had to get through the last of my library books before I'd allow myself to read a book on it! :)
Just started reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I keep hearing how good the series is, so I figured why not.
I just started "Pleasure Unbound" by Larissa Ione, the first book in the Demonica Series, pretty good so far!
I just read the Hunger games on my nook.I was soo excited to start on the sequel catching fire, but when I went to purchase it, it's not even available for ebook.
I'm reading "The Incumbent" by Alton Gansky. It was a free download and so far it's very okay for a free book. Don't forget that B&N announces free downloads every week! I subscribed to their alerts on Twitter and on occasion, they've got something I'm interested in.
I'm reading The Secret History of the Pink Carnation and LOVING it so far. It's great if you love a mix of History, Romance and Mystery.Today's free download is: Executive Privilege: A Novel

I downloaded [book:Executive Privilege, hope it's good.
I'm currently reading The Hunger Games. It's an entertaining book if you are into young adult fantasy.
I just finished The Shop on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber. It was a free Friday giveaway. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it, not my usual genre.
I just started reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo also. I'm reading it for a book club and I wasn't too excited to start it because I kept hearing that it was really slow in the beginning. But I'm only 80 or so pages in and I'm already intrigued by the characters, so I'm looking forward to the rest of the book with anticipation :)Michelle, I'm also reading The Writing Circle for the bn.com book club. Not liking it yet, but I'm trying to keep an open mind for the rest of the book!
