OMG! The new book in Maximum ride is called: Angel: A Maximum Ride Novel!
Here's a synopsis:
In the seventh book in the bestselling series, evil scientists are still trying to convince Max that she needs to save the world, this time by providing the genetic link in speeding up the pace of evolution. Worse, they're trying to convince her that her perfect mate is Dylan, the newest addition to the flock. The problem is that, despite herself, Max is starting to believe it.

Fang travels the country collecting his own gang of evolved humans, but the two separate flocks must unite to defeat a frightening doomsday cult whose motto is Save the Planet: Kill the Humans. And this time, the true heroine, for once, might just be little Angel.

I know. Well, right now the title is Angel, but he might change it. Max: A Maximum Ride was going to be called Waterwings, and Fang was gonna b called the Sky is Falling: A maximum ride novel

i doubt it cuz i think hes gonna do all of the next books named after the characters.

lol i think Max and Fang should both have different flocks bbut then they should like combine or something, or live next door to eachother, and Max and Fang will still be inn a relationship because apparently accordibng to the other flock members dating in the flock makes them only think of them selves...

I think it might be a possibility that Dylan will be leader of that flock in the end. Or they will live really close and always stay in contact. If Fang didn't leave He would have to break up with Max and still be around which would he kind of akward. So I guess him leaving kinda makes sense...

I dontthink I like the whole best friend and lovers thing... Fang needs to be her boyfriend who she goes to for advice, and Dylan needs to marry Max 2... They're both clones and he was programmer to love Max and Max 2 is still a max.. So it works ^^

Sorry, I know I'm being an idoit, but all this talk about Max falling in love and having boyfriends and marrying has me wondering if the world will EVER GET SAVED. :P

Which it probably won't happen until Maximum Ride 56: Revenge of the Erasers. (It has a nice ring to it, okay? And it's more creative than "Fang")

Okay, seriously, SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THAT SOMETHING HAPPENS IN THE SAVE THE WORLD PLOT. If the entire book is some kind of romance novel then I won't read it. Is there any action? (And no, Fang dying doesn't count as action, because he was a wuss and came back to life.)

Yes, it did. I distinctly remember it. Fang and Max were off breaking up in some cave after looking for a new place for the flock to live in, and while they're gone the rest of the flock makes breakfast and then they're attacked and captured by the Fly-Boy whatever things. Not excatly like what you say happens in Fang, but pretty dang close.

I wonder how she's supposed to save the world?...

Don't worry, JP doesn't know either. He's just dragging the series on and on and repeating stuff and having more Fax moments (SQUEE! NOT.) until he thinks of something.

yep, she probably has to save the world like 3 times..
she already saved it once in Saving the worls and other extreme sports.

Well yeah, I mean, come on, the only reason he's dragging the series out is because of money, and I hate books like that. It used to be an okay series, but now... meh. I'll read Fang, but I defintely won't buy it like I did the others. I may or may not read Angel, depending on whether I liked Fang.
But I have to disagree with you. Dragging the series on and on with no overall plot line is just as bad as killing all the characters off for no apparant reason. It would do everyone a favor for him to end the series now, but not for him, because then of course he wouldn't get the money.

it so sad when a book series you REALLY (like REALLY) loved is ending! im so saad because my fave book series evers last book is coming out (The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins) i just dont wanna leave them!

im gonna cry, because SOMEONE is gonna die, and i love all of the characters i just love some a bit more than others...
and ive reread CF and THG so many times i could probably recite every songle line from it... and even if it has a happy ending im still gonna cry... cuz after that itll be over :'((((((((

Yeah, especially if it's by such a great author as Collins! I'm going to have to read more of her books once the series is over!!! I really hope Peeta won't die!! Or Haymitch. XD I cried soooo much both when Fred Weasly died in HP and Luke in PJ! They were both my fav characters for the entire series and they both had to die in the last book! Soo... mean... *sniff sniff*

yes! i love the hunger games! i hope she does another YA one after it! maybe lie a Gales POV lol (I loved Gale in the forst book but he changed in the second and made me not like him, but hes still an awesome character!) And if Peeta OR Haymitch die i will start my own uprising! Peetas sweet and self sacrificing and Haymitch is just plain cool! i hate when fave characters die...
its just so heart breaking cux you get so close to them! when Rue died i got teary eyed but didnt cry because i was expecting it, i just wasnt ex[ecting the song! (thats the part that got me teary eyes.)

I know! It was so sad!!! And the weird thing was, while reading Harry Potter, I cried when Draco had to kill Dumbledore but didn't want to, but I didn't cry when Dumbledore actually died. He creeped me out. And I cried when I thought Draco was going to die in the last book. :P
