Team Gale discussion

So I just got back from seeing the movie "To Save a Life." It really impacted me, and it made me think about the people I've ignored or just walked past. It makes everyone think.

Plot:
Basketball star Jake Taylor has it all, but when a friend he's grown apart from commits suicide in his high school, Jake wonders what he could have done. Then, classified as a "nerd", Jonny Garcia shows up, and Jake wants to have an impact on him. He doesn't want Jonny, who gets made fun of, to go the same way as Roger, the teen suicide victim. Several meetings with a youth pastor, help steer Jake onto a good path, but just when Jake is beginning to understand things, his whole life falls apart, and we see if Jake, with God's help, can pull it together.

One scene in this movie that really impacted me was Jake's first visit to Chris's (the youth director's) youth group. Chris asks the students: How far would you go to save a life?

did that come out already i saw somw adds for that on here and wanted to go see about it but i had forgoten about it but i dont think ive seen any comercials for it yet

It's been out since January I believe, or mid-February. And, there are no commercials for it on tv; I think it's only advertised by the movie theaters it will play at and on their website.

yeah but we dont buy movies we rent them

then i guess you could rent it when it comes out in dvd format

yeah i guess but im not that patient
