Thanks Danielle for posting these rules! I fear we would run amuck without the rules and without our wonderful moderators to keep us inline!! Y'all are great and make this a fun place to hang out! :)

The rules are mostly to keep Danielle in line, but don't tell her I said that, I'll deny it. I'd hate to hurt her feelings, but you'd be surprised how crazy and disorganized she can get sometimes. If it weren't for me, Vale and Bekah here making sure everything runs accordingly, I shudder to think what would happen to this place.**sigh**
But don't tell her I said so ;)
I have come to pay my dues.... now who's floors do i have to scrub!!!!!
*****yay skipping back out the door to the parlor****

Danielle's been quiet today. I don't think there will be any arrests. Now, if you mess with me I'll move your thread to the archives. That'll teach you!
Arrrested? Does that involve handcuffs? What will the officer look like? I might like that?
I'd like to remind everyone that when creating new threads or folders, to please use only the basic font, no extra embellishments and no ALL CAPS. Having everything uniform helps make folders and threads more easily read and easier to find. Thanks!!
No problem, Heidi! I took care of everything yesterday, but thanks for offering to fix them, and for understanding. :)
Anyone can start a thread. Be sure to first check and see if its not already been started or it will fit in with something already started. This is just so that we can keep things flowing nicely and make it as easy to navigate as possible.Once you've done that, find a folder it will fit under, depending on what it is you want to start discussing. If it's fun and games, post it under Bekah's Fun house, if it's news, post it there, etc. Does that make sense. Once you find the heading it best fits under, you click "new topic" I believe, and then start your thread!
I hope that was helpful and understandable. If not, ask me more questions!! I'm here to serve! :-)

1. Show respect and courtesy to each other. If there are disputes, handle them in an adult manner. Agreeing to disagree is the best option in some cases. Use of inflammatory speech or insults against others are not allowed. Personal attacks will not be tolerated, nor will ganging up on members. In other words, making a member feel unwelcome because she or he has an unpopular opinion. Members who choose not to follow these policies will receive a warning via private message. If the behavior continues, they are at risk for removal. Please think twice before you post a message. Ask yourself if it is coming out the way you meant it to. Inflammatory and disrespectful posts are at risk for deletion by a moderator. It goes without saying that spam is not allowed on this group. Spamming members will be immediately removed from this forum.
2. Members are welcome to say that they do not like a book by Ms. Kleypas. However, a respectful tone towards the author and any others should be used. If you don't like something, state so. Do not make general comments such as, "This book sucks," or "Ms. Kleypas cannot write." If you are not a fan of hers, that's fine. But one would question why you joined this group. As for other authors, remember that authors are people too. They have feelings that can be hurt.
3. Please use spoiler spaces if discussing major plot elements. The individual threads for each book are assumed to have spoilers, so spoiler spaces are unnecessary in these threads.
4.Please be considerate to other members and mark a post as NSFW, in other words, Not Suitable for Work, if it has risque photos (pictures showing the groin, lower abdomen near the groin, highly suggestive pictures, bare rear ends, or bare breasts on a woman). If you are posting quotes of an erotic nature, please mark them as "Explicit Material." This group is not marked as 18 or older. Please keep this in mind when posting.
5.In order to keep the various threads and folders orderly, avoid creating duplicate threads. If you are not sure if a thread already exists, you can click on the words that say 'view all' under each folder. If there is not an identical thread, feel free to start one. If it happens that your thread is identical, it will probably be deleted. Do not take this personal. This is done to keep things organized, since there are a lot of threads going simultaneously on this forum. Your thread may be moved if it is not in the ideal folder. Again, do not take this personal.
6. Off topic threads should be started in the off-topic section. In other words, if you cannot find a folder that reflects the thread, and it's not about Lisa Kleypas or her books, it's probably off topic.
7.These rules may be amended to reflect any changes in policy on this forum.
The moderators are listed to the right of the discussion threads. Feel free to private message any one of us if you have questions.
