S.L. (stephanieldanielson) | 29 comments I need to up my sales bigtime, and get some reviews.
I'm running a contest on another site which a whopping 1 person has entered...
I saw mentioned in this group about the goodreads giveaway, but couldn't find it. Where is it?

I'm advertising in facebook, twitter, and here. what more can I do?

How do I find reviewers?

How do I get the sales up and keep profits up too?

thank you!!!

Steph

Stephanie,
It was always in EXPLORE, but is now listed under BOOKS.

Here's a link

Sorry it took me a while to notice your question.

With all the pirating that is going on (especially of ebooks) it is hard to keep the sales up, not to mention the profits!

There are NING.COM sites that review, try Writers and Readers Of Distinction. If you happen to be over 40, try EONS.com and look for reading/writing groups.

Look for reviewers among groups who share your interests in whatever topics you take seriously in your books.

Follow blog tours (because someone else is paying for the prizes for readers who leave comments). You leave comments also, and keep them on topic and about the author who is host/guest... but indicate your expert interest in a topic.

You will get on radars. You could use your book cover as an atavar. Be sure to always take advantage of the chance to link to your website or your own blog.

I've got a guest today Kelly A Harmon, starting a blog tour. http://rowenacherry.blogspot.com

Hey... you could visit goddessfish.com and sign up to be a host, too, if you have an established blog.

You did not mention the Reader focused Yahoogroups, but there are lots of them. Just be sure that you post a promo message or excerpt on the days that promo is allowed!

You didn't mention LibraryThing or Shelfari.

Do not give away e-books to people you do not know.
