T (10040604) Have you read a good biography lately? Or perhaps cooked a few fantastic recipes from a new cookbook? Is there a travel memoir that you just couldn't put down?

If so, let us know! Write a review.

Sheila Bennett (sheilabennett) | 4 comments Can recommend a great cookbook - The Pioneer Woman Cooks by Ree Drummond. It is so much more than just a cookbook. She has a wonderful sense of humor, and a style of writing about her everyday life on the ranch that is very fun to read. And the recipes are good, easy to follow, with detailed step-by-step photos.

T (10040604) Oh, thanks for jogging my memory, Sheila! I've wanted to check that one out. It has received great reviews.

Sheila Bennett (sheilabennett) | 4 comments Be sure to check out her Pioneer Woman blog. Yesterday, she wrote a blog post contrasting four different 'approaches' to prepare cinnamon toast! There are at least 20 photos detailing different steps. And I found out that the way I knew how is the "wrong" way and what she calls Approach #Gross. lol

Rachel | 22 comments I just finished They Fought for Each Other: The Triumph and Tragedy of the Hardest Hit Unit in Iraq. It was hard, gripping reading. I felt that the book really shed a light on what fighting in Iraq was like. I have also made two recipes from Trisha Yearwood's new cookbook Home Cooking with Trisha Yearwood: Stories and Recipes to Share with Family and Friends. Both the Key Lime Cake and the Chicken Spinach Lasagne were great. I'm looking forward to making some more new things. All the recipes are pretty simple which is perfect for me!

I haven't read it yet, but the reviews have been very good. ((And have you made the infamous "garth breakfast bowl" recipe yet?!))
