Swiftfire Ooh, I have a good feeling about this episode. Not only because the title gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside, but also because it hints in the episode summery that Kurt is going to try to get his dad and Finn's mom together! That would be so amazing! I love Kurt!!! *hugs*

P.S. New folders? Mods? *raps on mod's heads while having slight deja vu*

Sherri (sherrij2003) | 428 comments It's not a spoiler, what you wrote if you've seen the previews, but I won't name names just in case so I won't make anyone mad...I hope Will does not become a pig and start hooking up with yet another girl tonight.

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 454 comments I've heard amazing reviews for this episode! I can't wait! Kurt's dad and Finn's mom were made for each other. :D

Ditto on Will.

I was dissapointed in this episode. Not as usual, for me the cons outwiegh the pros.

Cons:
My whole family disliked the song selection; it seemed like the same songs 3 times over.

Kurt cried, which of corse made me cry, how could someone ever hurt the little guy?!

Nothing really happened, I could have asked someone at school about the episode and read the discription on Comcast and get the whole episode in 10 minutes vs an hour.

Totally swerved around Jesse and Rachel. I wanted to see Finn get in a fight with Jesse soo bad!

Pros

Kurt was in it!!

Mercedes was in it!!

April was in it!!

Sherri (sherrij2003) | 428 comments I was dissapointed also...

I agree the song selections were kind of repetative, and soooooo slow. I like the peppy show tuney type songs with a ballad thrown into the mix here and there not all ballads.

I kinda dig Kurt's dad and Finn's mom together but poor Kurt...I wish Finn's mom and him would bond then he wouldn't feel so left out.

I'm glad Kurt got to sing a solo...I actually would like to see everyone (even the people we never hear like Brit/Santana, Mike/Matt sing a solo too!)

I'm really glad that April and Will didn't hook up, that would have been too many girls in such a short amount of time.

I know I will get a lashing from this but...Sue is such an ass! The poor cheerios/Mercedes etc were trying to make her look bad and show what an evil person she really is and she milked it for all it was worth to make herself look better. This is numero uno who I don't like her, besides the fact that if she was my teacher I would kill myself (not really...)

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 454 comments Really? I loved tonight's episode! It doesn't beat Wheels or Sectionals, but I still loved it!

First of all: Kurt. Solo. ADORABLE! Need I say more?

I love the pairing of Kurt's dad and Finn's mom! They were so adorable! And I loved it when Finn and Kurt's dad talked together.

Quinn is getting more mature! Yay for her!

Mercedes song made me cry. I'm really starting to like her character. :)

I had no problem with the songs. At least there was a musical theatre song, for the first time since Sectionals!

And although Jesse had pretty much no lines, I won't complain. He was yummy. ;)

And as much as I love Sue, I was so mad at her! She insulted Kurt!

LOL. Yeah, I think things have gone way to fast in season 2. I mean, where only on the 3rd episode, right?

Same here. The fact that less happened in this episode, I think, is better. It doesn't feel as rushed, and gives more of an opportunity for emotional response.

I thought Mercedes solo was so good! When she went on Sue looked so mad. hehe

Swiftfire HOLYCRAP. Okaaaayyy.

First off, I LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS EPISODE SOOO MUCH OMG! And it would've been even better if a) April hadn't been in it and b) they had better song choices. Those were, like, mostly the only cons of this episode! The songs all seemed like the same thing, and they were all awkwardly placed (except for Mercede's!). But we finally got a solo from Kurt (which was amazing, even though I kind of hated him at the time) and Mercedes (okay, I cried. Probably no one else on the planet did, but I cried.).

Alright, so... Kurt. At the beginning I loved him, then I hated him, then I loved him, then I hated him, and finally I ended up loving him (and crying, of course). This is the same way I feel about Finn and Kurt's parents... Through the whole episode I was like, "No! This can't happen! Poor Finn! Poor Kurt!" But now after it, I don't care. I want it to happen! I guess I'm just evil that way... XD

And speaking of evil: Sue! I know you guys are saying she's an @$$, but COME ON. We can all agree this isn't the worst thing she's done. She's evil and scheming and mean. That's why I love her.

Mercedes was sooooo gooooooddd!!!!!! I really like her charrie, and OMG, I cried! So. Good. I love Glee.

And Quinn was great too!!! But I kinda want to know what's happening with... YOU KNOW, THE BABY. And staying at Finn's house, which I'm assuming she's not. Sooo... either I missed something, or they forgot...

In all, I loved this episode. Sure, there were a few things I didn't like (*coughcoughAPRILcoughcough*), but at the end of it, I was like, "ZOMG I LOVE GLEE." It did kind of seem like a filler episode, but who cares. It's the best episode since the show started back up, in my opinion.

And noooow... QUOTES!!!!

"How do you two not have a show on Brodway?"

"I live in a closet. There's cowboy wallpaper on the walls."
"Ah."

"I'm pretty sure my cat has been reading my diary."

"You both have dead spouses. You should talk!"

"Haven't had a drink in 45 minutes."

The show's always been super fast-paced.

Swiftfire Alright, rant over! My fingers always hurt after typing those... oh well! Share the Glee love! (Glee + love = glove??? XD)

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 454 comments On Sue: she essentially called Kurt fat!

The only thing that bothers me about Kurt is his chasing after Finn. Kurt should know that he can't make someone change who their attracted to. I really can't wait until he gets his boyfriend next season (who will hopefully be Ben Moss!).

Is it just me, or does Quinn's baby bump mysteriously disappear in some shots? Well, unless Quinn is locked up in the basement, the closet, or the cupboard under the stairs, she isn't living with Finn anymore.

I was so glad that this episode had a break from the relationship drama. As much as I love Jon Groff Jesse, I'm really glad he didn't do much this episode.

Share the gLove!

Swiftfire Sue calls everyone fat!

Yeah, that's what I didn't like about him too. In the beginning of the episode he was a jerk, because he knew Finn didn't want their parents to be together, but ignored him. And then, when is father was ignoring him, he went all, "We need to break them up" mode. He's extremely selfish. Ah well. *hugs*

I actually think I noticed a baby bump when she was talking to Mercedes. It might have just been my imagination though. It would be kind of awesome if she lived in the cupboard under the stairs... XD *mental picture*

Same! But... *sigh* Mike needs a girlfriend. Seriously.

HAHAHAHAA that should be the group's motto!

I can so see Quinn dressed as harry potter living in the cupboard.

Anyway, I was watching the very fist episode, and Quinn has matured and also gotten way nicer.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah i think Quinn is starting to realize what its like to not be popular. Its good for her :)
