Fantasy Book Club discussion

The Second Coming by David H. Burton was the winning title for our first FBC Self-Nominated Authors Poll. This is the first book in the series 'Words of the Prophecy'.

The official group reading will be during June and David shall be leading the discussion of his book during July.

So post here if you plan to read this novel, are reading it or have already read it. Comments are welcome, no spoilers please.

I read it & liked it a lot - well, was fascinated by it, anyway. It's dark, but good.

I'm planning on getting into it but I first need to finish The Warded Man, which I'm halfway through and then The Briar King. But I'm sure that I'll be ready!

I read it! Very well-written, dark and complex story.

I am up to 55% on my Kindle and loving this book even as a fantasy novice. I am definitely in for the discussion!

I am feeling a bit out of depth with the discussion! Was it only early May that I first read it?! Methinks I need to do a re-read.

I missed the "discussion" but did read this book and overall liked it very much. A fine showing for a first time author and I wish him great success (though I'm not sure I would "wish" the title of "author" on anyone as it is a hard road - but...it is filled with rewards as well.
