I have brown eyes too, with a black ring around the edges! And I wear contacts lenses, I have really poor eyesight but nothing awful has come of it. I use the expensive lenses so they're more comfortable. Although, I do have hayfever and it dries my eyes out, so it doesn't feel very nice when I'm wearing contacts because it gets stuck to the inside of my eyelids and I have to peel my eyelids back and pull the lenses back down. Sounds kind of gross, but it doesn't hurt so it's ok!

I wear contacts more because I look like a complete dork in glasses. I only wear glasses when I'm staying in so no one can see me! Coloured contacts are cool, but I don't think I would suit any other eye colour as I'm Chinese and we all have brown eyes, so I would look weird with blue or green!

I like long term stuff as well, I hate having to spend so much money on contacts. I wear daily ones as well, so it's a bit more expensive than monthly ones.

I have glasses (I only wear them for long distences) everyone says they make me look smart but i think they look like pooh on my its horrible

It's not really as scary as it sounds, you get used to it pretty soon when you have to wear them everyday. But I'd prefer to have good eyesight and not have to wear them at all, so you're really lucky! :)
