David Given Schwarm (davidschwarm) I do not have a lot of experience reading the core D&D books--I mostly read the stuff that I need while gaming; or, when things get slow during a session, the articles with good pictures.

Eberron Player's Guide is the first book I have ever tired to read like a novel.

I am not that familiar with the Eberron setting (I am currently reading my first Eberron novel--which I am liking a lot).

I am reading it primarily in preparation for running Seekers of the Ashen Crown this summer.

The world overview + great moments in history is fantastic. The focus on the world recovering from war is really neat.

So far I am really enjoying the exercise of reading a rule book like a novel. Thanks, David S.
