Sorry this is late. This will be where you can discuss this months book club read.

Thanks for making this a BCR. I wouldn’t have read it otherwise. Can’t wait to finish the series.

unfortunately I will not receive my book until the end of May. I accidental grouped all my books to be shipped together and one of those books isn't released until the 24th. I can't wait to read it.

So is there anyone who is reading/read this one yet, please share your thoughts.

I read this a while back. I like the idea of the Sentinels and the war they are fighting. I just like for my PNR to be a little darker. Overall I am not running out to buy the next book, but for not having read anything by this author before I was glad I did.

Unfortunately I am still waiting for my book to arrive. So Kenji what made it not dark enough for you?

I just read this one and had no idea it was gonna be a group read!! It is a very interesting book and the author does good in making her and your imagination work! I found it to be intriguing... I had to find out how it ended and the Sentinels I wouldn't mind having one all to myself! Tree tatoo and all!! LOL

I'm currently reading this book and so far so good. I'm only on like chapter 5 but it is intriguing so far!

Jael: Just like a bit more violence and danger I think. The hero a bit more tormented and twisted. More hardened so when he is tamed your like 'oh yeah!' hehe.

The idea of the what the Sentinels were fighting was interesting but the author spent a lot more time debating the characters feelings then suddenly they are mated. It could have been drawn out better throughout the story and reached a peak. Then I wouldn't have minded how it ended. I recently read Dead Until Dark which I considered PNR lite as well. That I liked.

I'm still waiting for my copy to come in mail, It's not looking good but I'm hopeful that it will show up soon. If not it looks like I will be reading 2 book club books next month just so I can catch up!

I read this one back in January. It was interesting. I had some issues with Helen, but I enjoyed it overall. I think the following books will probably be better.

ok so am almost finish and I am mad about Thomas. His story would have been very interesting but he dies!? Smh that sucked. Helen and Rake are growing on me.

I meant Drake, sorry my phone changes my words around. I really like Zach and Lexi. I will be reading their book most definitely.

I'm late but I've just about finished - had a few things go wrong this week.
At first I thought it was a little too similar to Feehan's Carpathian series (male finds a mate and is saved from becoming evil)but it has enough points of difference to be more interesting. I kept wanting Helen to get a grip though, even if she had believable motivation for being so afraid.
I too was dissapointed Thomas died. I was assuming he and the girl would end up being book 2 right up until that moment.
So I haven't quite finished - at 90% though according to Stanza but entertaining enough with enough original ideas to keep me interested.

I agree about Helen. Thomas' death really made me not want to finish. I love Zach and Lexi as well and will most likely read their book.

Finished this book last week. I really liked it and cant wait to read the rest. Helen kept getting on my nerves with her overdramatic reaction to fire, but i guess that is what she was suppose to do. Hopefully now though she wont be as annoying since she is over that fear. The epilogue left me wanting more, so there goes another book on my tbr. And lately i've been so busy with hardly no time to read! I will have to start making time again!

Michelle I agree I liked this book as well and had added the next two to my TBR. I also haven't had time to read as much. Summer break will keep you busy when you have kids. LOL
