Thanks for the invitation to identify myself as one more published author on this list. I write the Craft Corner mystery series and have recently seen the first in the series, Wreath of Deception, mentioned here as being currently read (hope you like it!). I love following the book discussions here and picking up new titles to add to my reading lists. If I only had time to read them all!
Hi everyone,I am waiting for a flight at the Pittsburgh airport and actually found a plug! Do I need to identify myself. If so, my second Cats in Trouble book, The Cat, The Professor and The Poison is released today! YAHOO! There are also 5 Yellow Rose Mysteries.

I read the first 3 Yellow Rose books and really enjoyed them. I think I have the other 2 in The Pile somewhere. Should dig them out!
Loved The Cat, The Quilt, and The Corpse. I am waiting patiently for the phone call from my local indie bookstore for your new one, today!!! LOL!!!
Yes, I loved The Cat, The Quit and The Corps and I'm enjoying a lot The Cat, The Professor and The Poison.
I'm a big fan of the cozy mystery genre, so I've been a member of this group for ages. I write the Claire Hanover gift basket designer mystery series, with two books published so far:A Real Basket Case
To Hell in a Handbasket
My new Rocky Mountain Adventure series featuring river ranger Mandy Tanner will kick off with Deadly Currents in March, 2011, and I've already received two great blurbs from Margaret Coel and William Kent Krueger. I'm finishing up the second book in the series now, then I'll go back to Claire and write the third gift basket designer book.
This sounds like a great series! Who could go wrong with rangers and the Rocky Mountains? I hope you'll give us a heads up when the first book comes out!
Hi! I've been crushed by deadlines but can come hang out more now that my edits for The Way of the Guilty: A Hope Street Church Mystery have been turned in. It's been a crazy year. Stirring Up Strife
and Path of the Wicked
have been released and I'm expecting edits on the next Supper Club mystery any day now. Thanks for seeking out the authors. We're nothing without you all! :) Jennifer Stanley/Jennifer Stanley
Thanks, Kate, for your comment on my new upcoming series! I'll definitely let you folks in my favorite Goodreads group know when DEADLY CURRENTS comes out. I'll also run a Goodreads giveaway contest for it.
Hi Briansgirl, everyone. Thanks for the invite. My first book "The Mine" is available at Amazon.com and ~20 independent bookstores in the Pacific Northwest. Independent reviews call it "riveting", "enthralling", and "spellbinding". I'm jazzed. I'm currently doing a giveaway that ends in 5 days, May 31. Take a peak! "The Mine"

Hey Briansgirl, Tammy, thanks much! I hope you win! I'm busy scheduling radio ads and signings for "The Mine" --and working on the next novel. I've got the outline defined, now need to get busy doing the research and roughing out each scene. It's an insane amount of work, but a lot of fun.
Best,
Dan

I've read all Leann's books (love em and her!), Beth's books (I moderated a panel she was on at Malice and she is a wonderful lady!),I adore Jennifer's books (under all names - LOL!). I think Kate Collins (of the flower shop mysteries) is lurking around here somewhere too. Her books are also fabulous! We really do have some terrific cozy writers in this Goodreads forum! :)
I've just sold my first cozy to Kensington. MAGGIE'S RAE'S SCRAPBOOKS will be published in 2012. I am thrilled!
!! Congratulations Molly. Wonderful accomplishment!
Congratulations! One of these days maybe I'll join your ranks! My mother, my husband, my sister, my niece & my best friend keep after me to write the book I've always talked about writing.
Congratulations Mollie! Sounds like something I would like ;)Come on Melodie...what are you waiting for? You won't know until you try ;)

I know......as my mom loves to tell me, "You're not getting any younger!" LOL
Melodie if it makes you feel better, I started writing a YA novel last year and got to 50,000 words and just kind of stopped. I think that is worse than not even starting. Now if I could just be off work for a month or so (yeah right), I would be happy to restart it! p.s. Congrats Mollie!
Hi, there ... I'm an author (of the Mace Bauer Mystery series, featuring Mace's wacky Mama). I'm thrilled to be a part of this group, and love to follow the threads. Wish I could keep up with the pace of the reading, though. I feel like the dumb kid in the back of the class. My third title launches officially July 1: Mama Gets HitchedOthers are Mama Does Time (2008), and Mama Rides Shotgun (2009).
Cheers, y'all!

The Mace Bauer series is great. Discovering them was like the first time I read Janet Evanovich- you just know that you'll be enjoying them for years. Even if I have 6 or 7 books going, I always move the Mace Bauer mystery to the top and immediately start reading them, even if I have 80 books in my pile.
Hiya, Tammy, Heather, Mollie and Shay. I feel very warmly welcomed! And, Heather ... my eyes aren't great, but is that a cow as your profile pix? There MUST be a good story behind that ..... Deborah Sharp
Hi Deborah! Yes, that is indeed a cow. Her name is Mother MOO-se. She was part of the CowParade Wisconsin herd on display in Madison a few summers ago and was covered in nursery rhymes. You can see her in all her glory here. I figured a literary cow was a good fit for the site. There were also four Wizard of Oz cows (Glinda, Wizard, Lollipop Munchkin and Ballerina Munchkin).

Ha!I have a good friend in Wisconsin (Paddock Lake, near Lake Geneva) who sends me cow cards and cow knick-knacks. We'll have to take in the cow parade if it returns. Fun!
PS: Hi to Marisa, too!
Hello and Welcome Deborah I will have to read your books simply for the fact we have the same last name!LOL and they sound really good!:)
Susie wrote: "Hello and Welcome Deborah I will have to read your books simply for the fact we have the same last name!LOL and they sound really good!:)"Hi, to you Susie ''Sharp'' .... have been doing some family research. Are your people from around Kentucky, by chance?
I think we may have had some relatives down there before they moved to Illinois.I'll have to ask my dad I know we had a relative that owned a plantation somewhere in the south.

A big welcome to Deborah, one of my favorite Midnight Ink co-authors! Others published by MI include authors mentioned on this list, such as G. M. Malliet, Cricket McRae and Sue Ann Jaffarian. I don't think you can go wrong with a Midnight Ink mystery. To find out more about the line, check out the publisher's website at:http://www.midnightinkbooks.com/
and the Midnight Ink author blog at:

I'd love to see some Cozy Mysteries members sign up as followers of the author blog! Check out my July 1st post there about "Moving a County Line for my Opening Scene," complete with photos. :)

I found out about Sue Ann Jaffarian's books by checking the websites and now have a couple of her Odelia Grey books waiting in the pile. MI seems like a great mystery publishing company.
Melodie wrote: "I haven't read the Mace Bauer books, or yours either, Beth, but have thoroughly enjoyed Cricket McRae's Home Crafting series and Terri Thayer's Quilter's mystery books."Actually, my first two mysteries were published by Five Star, not Midnight Ink, but I moved the series over to MI, and they'll be bringing
and
out in paperback, followed by the third book in the series. I'm most excited about my Rocky Mountain Adventures series that they're publishing, starting with DEADLY CURRENTS in March of 2011.
I love the Mama series..actually just ordered the new one tonight from amazon! Can't wait to get it. I hope there are many more to come.

I'll be interested in your Rocky Mtn Adventures book. I read your blog entry about moving the county lines to fit the story. Those types of things are funnier when you know the area. I just finished Carrie Vaughn's newest Kitty Norville book (it's UF) the other day and it was an even better read when I could follow actual places and areas she wrote about in this particular book. The whole book took place in the Denver area and Fort Carson.
Susan Wittig Albert Hi, everyone! I'm the author of three current cozy mystery series: the China Bayles herbal mysteries, the Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter (ultra-cozy, with lots of tea and little lambs), and my newest,The Darling Dahlias and the Cucumber Tree, just out at the beginning of the month. It's a Depression-era series, set in southern Alabama. The characters (the Dahlias) are members of a garden club--and amateur sleuths, of course.I'm hosting a Q&A here at Goodreads July 26-Aug 16--you are definitely invited! Here's the link to the group http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/3...
Looking forward to a good discussion with y'all.
Susan

I just finished reading The Darling Dahlias and the Cucumber Tree and I loved it very much. The story telling and characterization was beautiful and imaginative. Maybe it's because I love every thing from the 1930's and 1940's, but I love that you set this new series in the 1930's. So much can be done with that time period and reading about those days makes me want to live then or at least have my grandmother still be alive to tell me all about it. Thank you for writing such an intelligent and emotional book. Can't wait for the next one!
Oh, and we're sort of neighbors...Austin Rocks!
