This Beverly Cleary series is more young reader/intermediate rather than Young Adult, but, hey, the movie is coming out in July http://www.ramonaandbeezus.com/ and that brings back fond "loved that childhood book" memories!!! Will probably go see this with my two younger sisters since we all read, and loved, these books as kids!!

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) This was my first ever chapter book that I recall reading as a child! I think I was 8 or 9 when my mom bought me this book and I just fell in love with the Ramona books, as well as Judy Blume and others in a similar vein.

Jennifer | 4 comments I loved the Ramona books. They were all written (except Ramona's World) by time I started reading, so I was able to read them all in order. I always wished they would have continued on, as I loved watching Ramona grow up.

Lisa | 4 comments I loved these books. I too had a bratty little sister, so I could totally relate.

Louie I remember reading these books after my family bought me most of them when I was a little kid. I wish that someone would adapt them again, though maybe as a TV show instead so they would be able to explore them better.
