Thanx Sella! Ok, well I think it would be interesting to do this in 3rd person, cuz I've been doing a lot of 1st person lately, and need to keep up my practice in 3rd person! lol ok, here goes:
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
She shivered. Why was she here anyway? She should be out there, fighting alongside with her family. This wasn't right... Here she was locked in the pitch black dank cell. And who had put her here? None other than her own family! She was seventeen! Old enough to fight for her people.... but no. They said they needed her to stay safe, so they had locked her in this dark prison, with some food and water, promising to come and get her as soon as the battle was over. she could hear swords clashing above her. She groaned in frustration. After a while she fell asleep. When she woke, there was no more sword clashing, but she heard footsteps above her and outside of her cell. Was the battle done? Where were her parents? Why hadn't they come to free her yet? She got a horrible sinking feeling as she thought that maybe her people had not won after all. Maybe she's be stuck here forever. But then she told herself that it'd be easy to escape. Well, maybe it would take a while, but she'd survive. Just then there was a scratching at the door, and a turn of a key in the lock. She backed up against the wall, waiting anxiously to see if her people had won after all. The door opened and light flooded in from lamps behind the person who had opened the door. She gasped in relief. She couldn’t see the person’s face, because it was in darkness, and the glare behind the person was too bright for her to see anything else, but she knew it was her older brother Darius. It had to be. It was his same height. The enemy wouldn’t think to look for her here anyway.
“Darius!” She cried happily. “I was so worried.” When he didn’t answer she got a little worried. What was wrong? She stood up slowly. “Darius?”
“I’m not Darius.” A voice she didn’t recognize said.
“Who are you?!” She said, panicking, and backing up against the wall. The person stepped back. She gasped. He had light brown hair and dark brown eyes, and looked perhaps a little older than her. But this wasn’t the reason why she gasped. She gasped because this man wore gray. The color of the enemy.
"Come here." The enemy jerked his jump forward. "I've come to take you prisoner."She had never been more scared in her life. "P-prisoner?"
He narrowed his eyes. "Yes. We have won."
She suddenly wondered if my parents had made it out alive. But how would she be able to ask that?
"Don't be difficult. I'm ordered to kill you if you don't come with me quietly." The enemy placed a hand on his sword threateningly.
And then she realized that everything she had ever known, had jsut been destroyed. Her family was dead. Her mother, father and Darius. All dead. Her friends, relitives. Her life. She swayed, a little, and the man stepped forward, threatingly pointing out the door, obviously tell me to hurry and walk out. She stepped forward and swayed dizzily again. Then she collapsed, the world going black around her. She came to a matter of seconds later. She refused to go down like this!
Ilyana stepped forward, her own sword drawn, and glittering with her magic. "Not today, you won't." She vowed to the enemy.
The man stepped back. He hadn't been hired for this. The man who he worked for said the girl would be easy to fool and capture once they had blocked out the sound. The perfect leverage to get her family to surender. Up top, things where going badly for his side. Nothing like this had been mencioned. He couldn't fight magic! He swallowed, then said in the steadiest voice he could, "Yes. And there's no way you can stop it."
She lashed forward with the sword. It nicked the man in the shoulder and he collapsed. He wasn’t dead though. The magic didn’t kill, but the sword did. Should she step forward for the kill? Before she could decide, she heard footsteps coming towards her. She panicked. What could she do? If they found the man lying there, they’d instantly know she had gotten away. Before she could put much thought into it, the footsteps were too close to hesitate. She dragged the man around a dark corner as fast yet silently as she could. She was going to have to bring him with her. She groaned inwardly. Even if she killed him now, she couldn’t leave the body here to be found. They’d know she had escaped, and come after her immediately. And she wasn’t even sure she’d be able to kill him anyway.
Ilyana gathered the limp girl up in her arms, and ran.
((o, really? didn't the girl faint? i just made up a character to save her..........))
((Okay, now I'm REALLY confused. Who's Ilyana? I thought that that was the main character's name at first...but apparently not. Who's the limp girl??))
(Okay. I'm doing something that I hope cleans up things.)As Ilyana ran, the girl stirred. Blinking, the girl looked up at her. "Who are you?" she murmered, dazed.
"I'm Ilyana. I was locked up, and I escaped. I came to free everyone else who our people locked up and that they didn't want to fight. I found you, about to be taken by the enemy, and I attacked him. Now, who are you?"
The girl looked up at her, horrorstruck.
"Oh," Ilyana muttered. "Don't worry, I didn't kill him. If I had, someone would have found us right away." The girl shot her a questioning look. Ilyana sighed. "You've never killed one of them before, have you?" The girl shook her head. "Well, lets just say they smell pretty bad."
"Oh."
"Did you say what you name was?"
The girl thought for a moment. "I don't think I did. It's Crystaline."
"Hmm, that's an interestinng name. I've never heard it before."
"It's unique. So why are jwe running away?"
"It is a sad story. Our enemies, the ones in grey, are not fighing with our people over the usual things. They are fighting because they don't want to join with our people and become one. That is what the elders are trying to do. So, you see, our clan is no longer safe for us. They have betrayed our customs, and therefore all who follow them."
(Oh, so is Crystaline the main character, who was only 'she' at the beginning? Okay.)"So what are we going to do?" Crystaline asked Ilyana.
Ilyana sighed. "Well, what else? Get out of this place."
"Like, how?" Crystaline demanded. "There're guards everywhere."
"Like teleport." Ilyana answered.
"Like teleport." Ilyana answered.
Crystaline gaped at Ilyana. "Excuse me?"Ilyana rolled her eyes. "You heard me. Teleport. Don't you do it all the time?"
"N-no," Crystaline stammered. "You can do..magic?"
"Duh. Don't panic, you could leave parts behind." There was a swirl of black cloak, and the stone walls disappeared.
Crystaline found herself in a lush meadow a few moments later. "Ilyana...where are we?"
"Far outside the city walls." Ilyana smiled.
Ilyana was thinking, though. Didn't this girl know of magic? She was the one from the prophecy, was she not? That is what she was informed of. But there was time for questions later.
"We should leave." Ilyana said. Crystaline felt sick. "Did anyone make it out alive?" She asked.
Ilyana didn't answer.
Ilyana didn't answer.
She crept over to kneel beside Crystaline.
Crystaline looked up. "Well?" she whispered. "Were there any survivors?"Ilyana slowly shook her head. Crystaline choked out a sob.
"I'm sorry... Everyone was lost to those cold hearted murderers." Ilyana sympathized. Crystaline couldn't bear it. Her friends, neighbors, family, all of them. Gone. She burst out in tears and buried her face in her hands.
"Let's leave," Ilyana said again. Crystaline shook her head. "What's the point, if everyone else has died? Why should I keep living?"
Ilyana felt obligated to answer the girls question but held herself back. If she knew now then she would never come with her. Ilyana sighed in frustration.
"If you die, then who'll save the world? I can't. You can." Ilyana said frankly
(Whoops! I totally got confused! "_ Sorry!)
(sorry, is it kinda disturbing!? whoops! haha i always find the weirdest pics... Idk if any of you have ever play starcraft or warcraft, but I found it off the internet off the 'world of warcraft... which is weird considering that I actually don't like warcraft.... hahah : D Thought the pic was interesting though....)
(I LOVE Starcraft! and Warcraft is pretty addicting! LOL! :D)
( really?! Cool! I love Starcraft! Warcraft is a little too complicating for me to really get into cuz I don't have the time to figure things out... lol)
Ilyana tightened up, "Now is not the time." She grabbed hold of Crystaline's shirt, (because of her safety they dressed her as a boy), and they ran off into the Redwoods.
"The Enemy has many enforcements still coming from Treegel, if they find us, they'll take us prisoner, which won't be too helpful for the Kingdom. Especially after they find out that the Royal Family has died. Except for you."

(did you hear about the next starcraft they're coming out with? Man I can't Wait!!! "D Whoops! off subject!!)
Now Crystaline was really confused. "WHAT??" She asked. Ilyana stopped where she was, regretting saying anything.

(ha ha! It looks SO awesome!! I won't be able to wait long though because I'm getting bored out of my mind!)
(yes... A little. But not as much as you guys that's for sure!)
(I absolutely LOVE to write! My story Fyre that I have posted up here, I have it finished, but i'm trying to edit it, and post it up here at the same time!!)
(wow... that sounds pretty tough... :o I've only written one story all my life and I've only one chapter done. Other than that... I don't think I've ever written.)
(you're pretty good at it. :D.(okay continuing on . . .))
Ilyana looked away from her gaze, "I told you now is not the time to ask questions. If you keep asking them, we're going to get caught."
Crystaline sighed and followed Ilyana through the woods.
(Thanks!!"D I'm easily impressed by all of this groups writing and I'm learning how it all works pretty quickly.)
(hmm, what should come next? An attack of some sort?)
