1. Who is Rene?

2. Where did she grow up? (forks?)

3. Why does she hate it there?

4. Did she have any encounters with vamps? or 'others'?

5. WHy does she insist on living in sunny places?

6. Why is she so childish?

Methinks that they both don't know about eachother in that way.... Rene is not able to fully take care of herself, and how in her head she is like a child, which is somtimes how they describe crazy ppl. And Alice was put in a mental institute (no one should have to go there) sooooo........ I'm not sure were I'm going with this. I had it in my head and then it left me. :(

Renee could be Alice's sister,s daughter or something! If they are realted, and Renee knows Alice exsits then when she meets her at the wedding then Renee could ruin the bwedding!!!!!!!!

I thought they met already. But good idea!!!! what if when Alice sees Rene some memories come back???

Or like since alice is like who knows how old.. Rene is like a grand niece. The daughter or grandaughter of Alice's could be sister.

2 years b4 she met Bella so how could she have met Rene???

dam you guys have some scandalous theories. that'd be so cool if it turns out to be like that. but that can't be. alice was always in the dark. and rene was like a forks girl back then. iono... weirder things have happened

The Cullens have been frequenting Forks for 70 years - and Forks being a non-sunny place, I'm sure they weren't the only vamps. Especially when you think about Jacob's werewolf stories.
I just think the whole Rene thing is way to wide open - we really don't know much about her or why she left other than she hated living in forks. I don't know Bella's got some really non-normal human stuff about her and I figure maybe she comes by it honestly (through her genes or something).
I'm not necessarily saying she's a vamp - I'm just questioning that maybe she's something else entirely?

I agree with Brighde - I think something really terrible happened to Rene & that will play into the story somehow.
