Historical Fiction Books discussion

This is an easy read. If you read it through, it will only take half a day or less. If you are active and have to put it down, a day or two, at best.
If you have children, gives a sneak peek into their world at school.
But, most of all, its about Will Chases journal. He was a 19 year old who survived the S.S.Central America shipwreck (aka Ship of Gold) and went on to volunteer to fight during the Civil War.
