Brian stood in the water prefectly still while trying to get some fish, with a make-shift spear he made awhile ago.Katelyn(Kate,Kat) was fixing up their shelter from the night before after a storm hit.
Leah was sitting on a rock near the river she had found two days ago. She was extremely tired, she hadn't sleep at all last night, watching over for wild animals or who knows what, and right now she couldn't sleep either, wondering what had happened to her friends. She had told herself she wouldn't cry, and she didn't.
Brian eventually speared at least 3 three fish, before the others didn't come near himKate got done fixing the shelter up, as Brian came over with the fish
Leah decided to take a walk to the shore and look for her friends one more time. She would't give up
Kate started making a fire as Brian separated the 3 fish putting them on different sticks and putting each stick next to the fire. "i'm really getting sick of this" Kate complained
"same here, sis...but we have to deal with it, until we see a close enough ship or something and so far nothing"
Leah was walking by the shore, far enough to avoid getting wet, when she noticed something. After looking closely she realized it was a fire. She woud have been happy if she hadn't been scared, after all, she was alone, and who knows who was there. After a while, she decided to go check out the fire.
From a safe distance, she watched the two people near the fire for a while. When she decided she hadn't really much to lose she got closer and said 'uhmm... hello'.
"i'm Katelyn...this is my twin brother, Brian" Kate said"who are you?" Brian asked as the fish got done and he pulled the sticks away from the fire
'I'm Leah, my ship crashed and I ended up here about 4 days ago, how long have you been here?' She wasn't sure if she could sit next to them so she stayed up, a little nervous.
Katelyn sighed "we've been here about two monthes now" "you can sit if you want...want some fish?" Brian asked offering her one of the sticks
'Yes please, thank you so much' She sat next to them, taking the fish, feeling a bit more comfortable. 'Are you alone or is there any other people here?'
"well from our incident it's only us, a storm made the waves wash us over board and pulled us out to far from the ship" Katelyn said taking a fish from BrianBrian nodded and ate his fish
'Oh, i'm sorry...' she said, taking another bite of the fish. 'This is really good' she said after a while.
'I was traveling with some friends on a ship wen we went through a storm and shipwrecked, I couldn't find anyone else' Leah answered, a little sad.
"oh, i'm sure your friends are ok" Kate said smiling and finishing up her fish"yeah" Brian said, "you can stay with us if you want"
'really? thanks! that'd be great!' She said with a huge smile 'i'll go get what's left of my things later'
Brian went over to help her stand up, before heading into the woods to find somethingKate got up and went to work fixing the shelter, to make home for Leah
Leah walked quietly near Brian for a while, 'it must have been really hard being here for two months' She said
"yeah, but we adapted well enough to survive...speaking of adapting, i know i made a trap around here somewhere" he said
"Let's find it to see if maybe you caught something" Leah said. She was feeling a little cold, but she wouldn't complain.
"i know i laid it somewhere in this area, i just can't remember the..." he said before spying marks in a tree, that came from a knife "ahaha"
"i found these marks on this tree...which means the trap should be" he walked a few paces past the marked tree "here" he looked down when he heard pig grunt
"yeah, but it's going to last us...hopefully to breakfast tomorrow" said Brian, pulling a pocket knife out
Brian took the knife and stabbed it in the pig's heart, knowing he'll have to go in as far as he could even if he had to get his hand bloody, the pig squealed until it hit it's heart
the pig screams died out, as Brian pulled the knife out revealing pig blood on his hand "come on, i need to get this thing separated"
